How to write lego?

There's no "all of the above" option on the poll X-D

Here's how i write lego:

LEGO (when i'm screaming it)

Lego (when i feel like being proper)

lego (when i'm whispering it or being lazy)

Here's how i use lego in plural:

Lego's, lego's, LEGO's (when i want to type as little as possible)

legos, Legos, LEGOs (when i type as little as possible and can't find the apostrophe)

lego bricks (when i feel like being semi-proper)

Lego bricks (when i'm really proper)

lego pieces (when i don't know if i mean pieces of bricks or just bricks)

All of the above are fine, EXCEPT for LEGO's which is a blatant misuse of the apostrophe (see point 3 on the link) and is therefore an evil abomination which must be stamped out immediately! ;-) Does no-one teach punctuation in school any more?

That's exactly what I thought when rading the given options.

You see people messing up apostrophes all the time... In german language it shouldn't even be used after a genitive, only exception are words ending on "s" anyway. But as I said: You see it used incorrectly all the time...

It's not a mater for me. If someboy understand, the fact that we write LEGO, Lego or lego is not really important, even if normally we have to write it LEGO. And for the plural, I don't know how I write it...

Lego or lego and for plural i just say lego bricks.

legos, Legos, LEGOS is what you should use when you want to type as little as possible and BE CORRECT IN YOUR USE OF ENGLISH.

lego's, Lego's, LEGO's is just WRONG WRONG WRONG. It doesn't matter if you come from the US, the UK, or any other country that uses English as its main language, the apostrophe is NEVER used on a plural. Tut. *sad*
