TrumpetKing Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I think it looks great, even with the yellow print, IMO. What I want to see is an Ocean Queen or something with a newer coral crown and back-tail printing like we got with the POtC ones. Quote
Yooha Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Thanks for the correction - s11. My wife promised a new camera for the trip, hope to load up with good pics So, did you see any new figs or something on the trip? Quote
Dat Lego Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Just saw this topic today. I saw the pics at the beginning of this topic and I just love the welder . Now just waiting for more pictures and see how the rest of the minifigures looks like. Quote
commodore_legolas Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 So, did you see any new figs or something on the trip? He could not have, Comic-Con does not start till 17th of July. I will be there also, so lets hope we'll see some S11!!!! Quote

It will be $3 in the US. Oh, and it's green Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) The Minifigures will all include bases. Each packet will have a sheet depicting the Minifigures on the front and (presumably) the views of separate pieces and where they go on a Minifigure on the back. The Minifigures will all have bios on Lego.com. Okay, I'm sorry, but I had to! Aside from the legit facts, until Comic-Con, nothing else is known. And the Gingerbread Man pic is official. MicroJow Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 In all the years I've attended the San Diego Comic Con (since 2002) Lego has never revealed a new series of minifigures. Hopefully, this year will be an exception, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. - MJ Quote

Last year Sci found us the pictures just around the time of Comic Con (same week?), so they'll be around soon. Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) When I saw the LEGO Movie trailer for the first time at the movies today, I noticed that the Mermaid was called out. Does this have significance, or is it a throwaway gag? Edited September 8, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Let's play some questions on this topic, since no pictures are showing. 1) Will the welder mask have a hinge than can lift it? What's behind the mask? Normal hair? 2) Will the tiki warrior have a mask or a painted face? 3) Will the scarecrow have normal legs/body? 4) Will the barbarian wear a cape? Which weapon will he have? 5) Will the granny come out with a cake? Would she be a pairing for the grandma visitor from S7? 6) What will the jazz player play? A Sax? 7) Will the diner waitress wear rollerblades? Let's play! :D Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) The grandma would likely be a clever bridge between the Grandpa and Grandma Visitor. It would be awesome if the Diner Waitress had rollerskates. and maybe a notepad? I hope the grandma comes with a dessert, but a pie seems more fitting. I think it would be cool if the scarecrow had a post and straight out arms like this: >----< to clip onto the post. I honestly don't have any interest in the barbarian yet, since the historical figs aren't my favorite, but as nothing about the Barbarian is known, it may change my mind. 8. Guesses about the Lederhosen/Bavarian Lady? 9. Will the Mountain Climber be an ice climber or a hiker? 10. Any guesses about the Constable. I hope it's the traditional British Bobby with a new helmet (that pith helmet just doesn't cut it for me.) Edited July 9, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote

Also, I am really excited about the jazz player, a new sax piece would be awesome! Quote
Hinckley Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 In the LEGO Movie trailer, the Mermaid is mentioned by name, but it's unknown if that was a throwaway gag or not. When I saw the LEGO Movie trailer for the first time at the movies today, I noticed that the Mermaid was called out. Does this have significance, or is it a throwaway gag? Is there a reason this is being mentioned in this particular thread? Are you making a point about series 11 or did you mean to post this in a topic about the LEGO Movie? Quote
8BrickMario Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 The mermaid came up in discussion here, but that didn't really belong either. Sorry. Quote

Let's play! :D 1) No hinge on the welding mask but printed sweat on the minifigure head. No extra hair either. 2) A blocky mask for the tiki warrior. 3) The scarecrow will have a normal body but a new mold for the sack cloth head 4) No cape for the barbarian. He will be armed with a claymore style sword 5) No cake for grandma. She will have curlers in her hair. She would be paired with grandpa 6) Trombone or trumpet 7) The waitress might have the rollerskates but 8BrickMario is probably right about a 1X2 studless printed plate for her note pad. 8) The Bavarian Lady will have a mug suggesting Octoberfest without being explict since kids collect this too. 9) The mountain climber may have cold weather gear but needs picks to climb sheer rock faces. 10) The Constable will be a British bobbie. Hopefully one that would work for present day MOCs as well as Victorian ones. These are just my thoughts. What do you guys think? Quote
Yooha Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) 1) Will the welder mask have a hinge than can lift it? What's behind the mask? Normal hair? It will have a hinge and there is a helmet behind it. 2) Will the tiki warrior have a mask or a painted face? Mask AND a painted face behind it. 3) Will the scarecrow have normal legs/body? No normal legs, but a pole or something. 4) Will the barbarian wear a cape? Which weapon will he have A cape and a huge sword. 5) Will the granny come out with a cake? Would she be a pairing for the grandma visitor from S7 With the pie of the CM5 clown. 6) What will the jazz player play? A Sax? A sax or a trumpet. 7) Will the diner waitress wear rollerblades Definitely 8) Guesses about the Lederhosen/Bavarian Lady? No :) 9) Will the Mountain Climber be an ice climber or a hiker? A Himalaya climber with hooked boots (or whatever it is called) I hope 10) Any guesses about the Constable. A classic british bobby. Edited July 9, 2013 by Yooha Quote
escortmad79 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Diner waitress is likely to have the rollerskates from the speedskater & the tray from the waiter. Grandma figure might have a grey version of the sumo wrestlers hair Hoping the constable will be a traditional UK bobby using a black version of the pith helmet with a silver badge sticker or printing on the front Quote
jonwil Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I for one hope the Jazz Musician has a Sax, the Sax is one of my favorite instruments (next to the Bagpipes which we already got) Quote

Itaria No Shintaku Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Am I the only one who find the use of the picture here hilarious? Actually it is :) Argh, I will be leaving in 5 days and I will venture into Deutschland, but I won't be able to connect to the internet for 10 days. Thus meaning 100% pictures of S11 will spread out while I'm away and surely they will be removed by an angry TLC staff member before I can see them. Quote

pjonze Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Could the lollipop from the new winter set end up in the hands of the gingerbread man as well as his mug? Or could the holiday elf hold it? (Although a candycane would make more sense) Quote

(Although a candycane would make more sense) I think there's more of a possibility of the Gingerbread figure having it, but I doubt it as the picture doesn't show it. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 14, 2013 Author Posted July 14, 2013 I think they'd just get a brand new piece. (Also, stop posting in the thread, unless you have news. You're getting everyone excited over nothing. ) -Sci Quote
