Can I squee! here? I LOVE so many of these!

The bag from Grandma is the same mold they are using in the Friends line!

I want the Bavarian lady (With the Pretzel) and I guess I'll need to find the guy to go with her now too. And Gingerbread Boy. And the elf with teddy bear. And the Mountain Climber (for a rope for Samwise, as mentioned). And the Lady Scientist! And Grandma. And maybe the robot if I decide she really could have been made by Olivia.

Not the Scarecrow though :( I had high hopes when I first read about him but this picture doesn't fit them.

Not sure about the waitress. Maybe for the roller skates and the ice cream and the platter. I'm not so fond of her though.

That's the thing about a lot of these figures..the accessories sell the figure as much as the print/style of figure. Plus, the accessories in some cases can go for as much as the figure, so it can be easier to just buy multiples of the figure, if you want multiples of their accessories. Sure, you are stuck with extra accessory-less figures, but it works out in the end. I haven't looked lately, but the Forest Maiden's shield was going for over $3 on bricklink early on, which is more than the figure was by itself...odd I thought.

So it's almost worth it to buy one of each "just so you have it" (anyone guess the quote) in case you want an accessory later on. That's the only reason I buy the figures I don't particularly like.

I can see accessories such as the tiki mask, Bavarian hair if it has pigtails, and the new cat being of interest in the future, especially if they don't appear in other releases. (Though in the case of the cat I doubt we've seen the last of it)

The Lady Robot doesn't resemble Rosie the Robot at all. It's not even a maid. Rosie has always been my favorite Jetsons character, so I get picky about "female robot=Rosie the Robot Maid" comparison. It's not to be mean, just to clear things up.

The character looks nice. A robot girl isn't a bad idea, but it seems that TLG is too lazy and makes her like the Clockwise Robot with lipstick, instead of a totally redesigned print and a long skirt piece.

It is a little strange, that these minifigs are out in Poland, but beside those first pictures, I couldn't find any more pictures on the web taken by polish AFOLs. I even tried to search the lugpol (which is a polish lego forum I guess), but no additional photos! Our polish friends, please take pictures of the figs, especially from behind where it is relevant!

None of Eleclercs in my city has series 11 :hmpf_bad:. Either the shop the guy found them in put figs earlier than others or he lied about where he got them.

Are you sure it's an August 1st release? Going by their usual CMF schedule it should be September, shouldn't it? Even for Europe, I would think.

I'm always sure!

Came here expecting good pics from GRogall.

When is the USA getting them?

;--;

Officially on September in LEGO Stores, Target, Wal-Mart and other retail stores. Anyways at Toys R Us will be start selling them in August. I hope so, because it was happened since Series 8.

I think they will start releasing them on Toys R Us and Fred Meyers.

CMF 11 will be officially available at all European Brand stores as well through S@H on the 1st. August!

In a way this is both good and bad for me. If Series 11 comes out in August then I can get them all very quickly and complete it without waiting until the last minute, but I also won't be able to complete Series 10 as I had hoped to do over the Summer. I don't usually shop at LEGO brand stores, but if they come out in brand stores in August it can be presumed that they will come out in other retailers as well. Hopefully I'm wrong, and other retailers don't release Series 11 until September (at least in the UK) so I can complete Series 10 (or at least get another 4 or so more).

Wow. I love these, as always. I must admit to getting a little CMF fatigue, though; it's just getting blasted difficult to keep up with them all and get as many as I'd like of each. But I'm going to keep trying!

Once again I plan to get at least two apiece; I'll try to get slightly greater quantities (3 to 7, say) of the barbarian, diner waitress, tiki warrior, holiday elf, constable, scientist, jazz musician, evil mech, lady wind-up robot, and... well, shoot. Most of them, I guess.

I wonder whether I'm the only one looking at that jazz musician and thinking of how it'll facilitate more Indiana Jones builds...

Yep, I have to agree with you Blondie. I've got a complete set, so there's no stopping now... but I just don't have the same enthusiasm as I did 7 or 8 series ago. Wow, that sounds like a joke but it's actually true!

I don't think I've ever had CMF fatigue, the new series are spaced apart well for me and each one seems like it's better than the last. I worry for when LEGO runs out of ideas... If we get to a series 20, I hope we get a CMF Character Encyclopedia Volume 2.

I go through phases of fatigue when I think of the ones that don't appeal to be. However, each release they come up with something that really impresses me. I get all the figures I want in a few weeks and swear off the wave. But then as I check for good deals each week, I get a few to meet the LEGO craving. I don't need them but it is hard to walk down a LEGO aisle and not buy something. A CMF package is to a large set as a candy bar is to a buffet.

I won't fatigue. With a focus as narrow as historic, I usually end up with 1-3 must-haves and a couple nice-to-haves for parts or just because they're cool. Keep 'em coming!

I wish these would hurry up and come out in Australia (we always seem to get things last :( )

I need the Saxophone for a new MOC I am about to start working on :)

Since I'm not a completionist it's been easy to keep from getting bored by CMF. I just get what appeals to me, there has always been a few I love!
