JeagerEX Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I can't wait for the release in TRU and Walmart. Since they have it in Target stores right now, but I am banned from going to Target stores by court order until they lifted. Since I'm banned, I can try to buy from other stores besides Target. Anyways I'll be very careful... Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) ^ Let's not bring that topic up again*, but I wish any of my local stores had the Minifigures. I just went to Target but the LEGO aisle had not a single packet and the collectibles aisle just had a couple of S10 packets. Will try again this week. *(since it got you in trouble to mention it, I believe. I'm sorry about your situation, but it's probably not wise to mention it here) Edited August 27, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
JeagerEX Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 ^ Sorry for that post. Because I am afraid to put myself into trouble again. Anyways I'll just wait for it. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Not a problem, just a friendly reminder. I think if I can, I'll check a local Target on Saturday, as that day every week is my day to go to stores and look for new/missed things. Crossing my fingers (for a few days, but still). Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Yesterday I saw them in Italy. I took three tiki warrios and three scarecrows because there are only 2 per box and I like those minifigures, so I have to get them before the others. By the way I was disappointed as I didn't read that the tiki warrior's mask is in flexible rubber... it just bends over, too bad, it was such an interesting new mold. I also noted, correct me if I am wrong, that the spear of the Tiki Warrior is regardably more "flexible" than the usual ones, see, the castle spears. Did anyone also note this? Quote

They reached Hungary as well, so I took the same two ones (among others) that you mentioned. The rubbery mask doesn't bother me, why is it problem you think? After you wrote, I checked the spear (and the pitchfork) and they do seem more flexible. Although I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned. Quote
305Bats Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Anyone else wonder why JeagerEX is banned from Target? Quote
MicroJow Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 In the US, the boxes at Target have a big sticker on one end that says DO NOT PUT ON SHELF UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1ST 2013, so that's why most stores don't have them out yet. If you go to Target this Sunday and the figures are not there, ask an employee to see if DPC # 204-00-1045 is in the stock room. - MJ Quote
Savage Oppress Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 They are at Toys R Us in the US right now, if you don't see them near the Lego Aisle and Series 10 is still there, check the playmobil and mega-Bloks Aisle. The employees probably hid the box there. Quote
Super Goblin Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Anyone else wonder why JeagerEX is banned from Target? Most likely theft but I'm sure we'll be told to stop this off topic conversation. Quote

Bricknblue Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 My TRU had them for $3.19. Not a lot of them, and they are redoing the store.... again, maybe if they stop redoing the stupid store they can charge fair prices?!?! Anyhooo.... I bought four, waiting for the B2G1F sale in a few weeks. I got the German and diner woman, grandma (The cat is the best!) and an elf, which is really cool it comes with the teddy bear and a gift. I'm enjoying this last classic CMS for several months very much. Quote
LegoDad Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Just checked my TRU today and still no luck with Series 11. Surprised since they have had them before the official release with earlier series. Quote
HolmesA8 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Went back to Moore Wilson's Variety in Wellington, NZ and picked up another 10 figures ($4.50NZ). Couldnt find the gingerbread man unfortunately (didnt have time to muck around), but did get: 2 x Xmas Elf (very easy to feel for) Yeti (likewise easy to feel) Sax Player Welder Tiki Warrior Scarecrow Barbarian and another scientist (making 3 I've got from there) I thought I had Grandma with a quick feel, but got home and turned out to be another welder... Carousel Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 My TRU had them for $3.19 ... they can charge fair prices?!?! Try spending $5 for a solitary figure! Anyhow, I do hope Series 11 shows up in Australia soon, I'm really eager to get my paws on the Constable. Quote
jluck Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Just noted on WhiteFangs review page that the scientist has Prof C Bodin on her shirt, so I looked it up. Cynthia Bodin is a designer for Lego, guess this is her big moment:) Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 And the Diner Waitress is Tara Wilkes, though her name was also on the S2 Traffic Cop's ticket. Quote
Garmadon Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 And the Diner Waitress is Tara Wilkes, though her name was also on the S2 Traffic Cop's ticket. Speeding on roller skates?! Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 That may be it! I'll be at a Target and a TRU tomorrow, so I'll be on the lookout for S11! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 From what I've seen, TRU usually goes for $3.19. I think they realized they can still charge more, but not as much as they were. Maybe it's a fluke, but that is what they are priced at here. I've only looked at 2 places and still no sign of them here. Although I did see a lot of old series 9 again. They must have been clearing out their back room. I've noticed they don't stick around here for very long, so you almost need to get them right when they come out because the stores don't seem to re-stock them ever. I'm slowly getting fizzled out on these CMFs. Maybe the next 3 series that are different themes might kick start the interest again. Quote
jonwil Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Try spending $5 for a solitary figure! Anyhow, I do hope Series 11 shows up in Australia soon, I'm really eager to get my paws on the Constable. They are available in Australia, I bought 13 of them from a Toys R Us here in WA on Thursday. Others have reported seeing them at Target and MYER and elsewhere too. Quote
Walter Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I can't wait for these to be available near me. I really like this series and I'm hoping to get multiples of the Bavarian girl! Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Didn't see any yet. My TRU stores are moving everything around, and in the process, quadrupling the LEGO section. Quote
obsidianheart Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Got 9 at a Wal-Mart. The 8 that I wanted and 1 for my son. They were on a side-cap on the actual LEGO isle (for a change). The yeti's head in a little loose, is that normal? Might get a few (or 5) more Evil Mechs for the Blacktron armor. Quote
