Hobbes Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 How do I get my layout on a table? Set up the tables and then (re)build the layout ;-) We (my son and me) prefer the floor like Hobbes does (thank you for details of your development!). I said that? Actually I prefer the tables. Sure, the floor doesn't have boundaries and you're more flexible (as long as you still can step somewhere) but I have a few Divers and underwater sets that I will set up under the tables, so I kinda need the tables ;-) look here! OK, that would take lots of tables. That's a base for quite a huge town :'-) Quote

Minifig Lecturer Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 If I won the lottery I would buy a big table for a big room, in a new normal house, for my stuff. Also I would buy an alarm to keep Hobbes from stealing my table and Holodoc from breaking it. Unfortunately I don't do the lottery yet because buying a ticket seems like a lot of effort :-( But someday my friends, someday... Quote

Sir Dillon Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 On the table vs. floor thing, I like tables, because it's easier on my knees and back (I usually kneel while building) but I think it'd be harder to look through my pieces on tables... At the moment I build on a table about half a foot off the ground, just so I have something hard to build on. Quote
Holodoc Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 Really like to type I see! ??? *wacko* ??? Quote
