Wineyard Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Thanks for the comments De Gothia: Thanks! I will give some thought to participate in GoH. And if I do, Avalonia will, of course, be my faction Quote
Palathadric Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Sweet, sweet, sweet, MOC! Really, it's stunning. Do I have to add, "I wants it!"? Quote
monsinjor Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Another wow. This is apsolutely fantastic. Quote
Wineyard Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Thanks to my dear brother in law, my castle received a slightly more terrifying surrounding: Lego Castle - The Old Monastery by Ichthuz, on Flickr Quote
Teh Stud Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 That is way too awesome to be scary. Scary good, maybe. Quote
Venunder Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Awesome. :) I look forward to your next MOC. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Wow! I thought your castle looked good before, but that second photo editing just brings out all the awesomeness of your build! Fantastic job! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 An amazing build for sure! I first noticed this on TBB, but was pleased to see you sharing it with us on Eurobricks. Such an intimidating build, hope to see more from you soon, possibly in the Guilds. Quote
Sir Walter Maugham Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Wow, just... wow. I really like the... well, everything. I would list all the things I like, but it would take far too long. It suffices to say the whole thing is spectacular! Looking forward to seeing more creations from you! Quote
Tazmaniac Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Great build mate, the fact you drew inspiration from other builder takes nothing away from this fantastic castle, the form of this creation is top notch with a great balance between the towers and different coloured sections. Don't discard Nocturnus as a possible guild choice, the vibe of this moc screams dark and sinister. I hope you don't mind I added the extra image to the first post. Quote
ZCerberus Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Nocturnus does need more members! To GoH with you all!! Quote
streifen Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 The monastery is great! It almost detract what is also a very realistic rockface (is that the right word?)! Quote
LEGO Family Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Pure Epicness ..... Lovely scary build. Reminds of the load screen of my all time favorite arcade game " Dragons lair" .. It had a castle in the background, this build is how i imagined it would be. Very well done. That build is impressive all over. Quote
King Aragorn Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 What a great work! You have skills that I will never have in thousand years! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 This castle is a real masterpiece! I like the complex architecture and the beautiful details: the bears beneath the cage, the windows with the cross hole, the rocks effect, the towers and the perfect fusion between wood and stone! Superb work! Quote
Cara Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 This is just beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking. Quote
Maxim I Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 WOW!! I love how the wooden building is looking like a gigantic treehouse with the castle being an enormous tree! I also love tons of other details, to many to list here! :D Quote
Wineyard Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate them! And I'm glad that I can announce that I won Swebrick's contest! Quote
