June 19, 201311 yr Yeah, that's probably what I was thinking. I kinda wish those had made it in; the crocodile design on them was pretty legit, if nicely overspecialized.
June 20, 201311 yr Yeah, that's probably what I was thinking. I kinda wish those had made it in; the crocodile design on them was pretty legit, if nicely overspecialized. I was disappointed they changed the blades at first, but after getting the set in hand, I must say the current blade pieces work rather well. I'm still on the fence about whether to get Razar - I don't MOC much, so I won't be using him for parts. I'll only get him if I really like his design - but the only thing that stands out on him are his wings. Would anyone recommend getting him?
June 20, 201311 yr Razar is my favourite of the three Chima sets I've purchased so far (Eris, Worriz, Razar).
June 20, 201311 yr It does... one of Cragger's is that color. It looks pretty much solid (like most transparent red parts in that type of softer plastic — compare the eyes of Vahki Vorzakh or the Quaza spikes on the Savage Planet villains), but it's the same color as Worriz's blades and the official color is Transparent Red. Actually, Worriz's blade is solid red. -Sci
June 20, 201311 yr Actually, Worriz's blade is solid red. -Sci The instruction manual and customer service replacement parts database (and my copy of Vahki Vorzakh, whose eyes are colored similarly) lead me to believe otherwise. It's normal for transparent colors to appear solid in many of TLG's softer plastics. Even transparent colors in ABS are not properly transparent because colorless ABS granulate is not transparent by nature.

I totally believe you, but they are much more solid looking than the eyes from that Vahki. They don't look any different next to my red parts as any other red part.
June 22, 201311 yr Razar is my favourite of the three Chima sets I've purchased so far (Eris, Worriz, Razar). I'm really in love with Worriz. Cragger's been a bit disappointing due to the gaping holes in his neck and back. Thanks for your feedback, I think I'll pick Razar up if I have spare cash after wave 2 of Brain Attack hits my country! They're slightly translucent; kind of an opaque tr. red. I don't think they're translucent. I have Cragger and Worriz, and their blades appear solid to me. Seems to me that the reason why they appear translucent is because they're thin, so light would pass through them more easily.
June 22, 201311 yr Since I own Cragger and Eris, I can say that Cragger's red blades are made of a similiar plastic as Eris' blue blades. The blades are not really transparent, but it's not traditional solid plastic, more a very slightly translucent plastic, similiar to Stormer XL's blades.
June 22, 201311 yr Got Worriz today, and the red blade is.. red. It looks very slightly more shiny than the red parts, but you aren't going to notice it most of the time.

Thanks for your feedback, I think I'll pick Razar up if I have spare cash after wave 2 of Brain Attack hits my country! Do you think there are any simple mods that could be made to Cragger to improve his gappiness? It'd be neat to see.
June 24, 201311 yr I have MODded Cragger, I will try to post pictures before this weekend. I bought Gorzan today, he's pretty nice. I will MOD his legs, though, they are a bit too small, IMO. And replace those feet by Pyrox's ones. They should be more adapted to a gorilla than the classic 2.0 feet.
June 26, 201311 yr hey guys, which one do you think is better, Cragger or Gorzan? set-wise i mean. i never buy sets just for the parts.
June 26, 201311 yr I'd say Gorzan, but only barely. If you count the "part value", then Cragger wins hand over extremely large fist .
June 26, 201311 yr Gorzan is mostly black, which is very versatile, while Cragger is mostly dark green (and some olive green) which are both nice but yet still rare colours (especially olive green). If you already own Ogrum, Cragger is a great opportunity to get more newer pieces with dark green. As far as set design goes, I'd also recommend Cragger thanks to stuff like his moveable jaw and tail. To be fair though, I don't own Gorzan, so I can't say much about him.
June 26, 201311 yr I am very pleased by all sets of this subtheme. However, there is one small dissapointment, Razar and Eris are the exact same build with different heads, colors, and weapons. Out of all of these sets, Cragger and Gorzan are my favorites. So to answer your question, both are good and you should by both . Edited June 27, 201311 yr by Penkid11

June 27, 201311 yr Do you think there are any simple mods that could be made to Cragger to improve his gappiness? It'd be neat to see. Initially I tried shortening his neck by a module like it was in the prelims, but his back neck armour stuck out too much it didn't look good. I've also tried adding one of those bone pieces with 2 sockets on both sides (I'm using my mobile now so I can't post a link to it) to link the neck bone pieces together, but it didn't look good as well. I'm still looking for a simple yet effective solution, anyone with ideas?
June 27, 201311 yr hey guys, which one do you think is better, Cragger or Gorzan? set-wise i mean. i never buy sets just for the parts. If you have Ultrabuild Hulk, Gorzan will make you have Daja vu.If you have Vastus, Same thing
June 28, 201311 yr If you have Ultrabuild Hulk, Gorzan will make you have Daja vu. If you have Vastus, Same thing don't have both of them...
June 30, 201311 yr Got Laval yesterday! Really love him and Worriz. Videos : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iWVSqjGh-s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx1KIIK5m9s -Sci
August 15, 201311 yr So the Chima 2014 set list just got leaked, and these caught my eye: Legend Beasts 70123 Lion Legend Beast 70124 Eagle Legend Beast 70125 Gorilla Legend Beast 70126 Crocodile Legend Beast 70127 Wolf Legend Beast Note that this is pure speculation on my part, which is why I haven't created a specialized topic for this. But could these be 2014's Chima constraction sets? Sure we don't have any indication that the Chima constraction line is continuing, just something that came to mind.
