I'm still waiting to find them up here. I'm also in MN but we don't have a TRU near by. I'm hoping that the local Target or Walmart gets them soon. I'm chomping at the bit to get some Heroic Knights and Forest Maidens.

Series 9 still hasn't shown up at my local TRU in Kingwood, Texas . I hear they will be retiring Series 9 soon to make way for Series 10, so I am not too happy about that.

About two months ago i was doing secret santa shopping at my local Walgreens, and there were packs of Series 8 minifigures, but when I checked back again a week before, they were gone :(

Distribution seems odd with this series. They arrived at my TRU a while ago, but still no sightings anywhere else. I would have purchased the whole line-up at TRU if I didn't have Target giftcards to use. I'd rather not spend money I didn't have to spend. But I know this time last year (about the first two weeks of February) they were at the Targets everywhere because my wife and I flipped through that series on her birthday date night. Just odd that they still aren't around elsewhere. I'm going to go look again tonight, but I've looked almost daily for the last few weeks and getting disappointed everytime makes me not as interested in this series. I was ready to buy multiples of a lot of the figures when they first arrived, but now I may get one and call it good until the next series. My interest is dwindling..

I am guessing they will show up with Easter at Target. That is when Series 3 hit the shelves.

TRU was the first place I spotted this series, but I also saw them about a week ago at a Wal Mart, not in a display of any sort but just tossed in a plain brown box in the LEGO aisle. They had a price tag on the shelf, so it seems like maybe they didn't have these on the Planogram and thus didn't know how to merchandise them. Still no sign at any of the Targets I've checked. Luckily between Wal Mart and TRU I picked up my full set, but still looking for duplicates on a few.

I seem to find them in every Barnes & Noble I go into in Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina. I would check your local Barnes & Noble.

That is a good thought about coming out with the Easter stuff, but the Targets around here (even the Super Target) have their Easter stuff out and no sign of minifigures. It's really weird. And I did check the B&N here (Nebraska) with no sign. I just know this time last year they were plentiful and I already had all of the figures I wanted. As it stands, I may have to trek up to TRU. I probably should anyway with the BOGO 50% sale.

If you have a wrapper from series 9 (from TRU or the LEGO Store) you can scan it at Target. They will tell you the DCPI number and where in the store or stockroom they are located. With the DCPI number, customer service can look up the other stores in the area too.

Went to another local TRU today and asked if they had anymore series 9. They brought out a brand new box. My count of mermaids was off so I have a couple extra. Only needed one extra for a friend who is into mermaid stuff. Finished my collection of series 9. They said they had more boxes in the back but only put out a box when the current box supply dwindles. Get em before the BOGO sale ends!

All in all this series doesn't thrill me yet it is one of the few I have a full set of.

Still no sign at the main stores, but I found a fresh box at another store I normally don't go into and they said they had them since they came out. I know where I'm going for the next series.

Did you find them at Shopko? The only ones I ever found were at TRU, and it's way to far to go try to find a knight.

The Shopko around here gouged you for them. They were nearly $6 last time I looked for them there (that was probably around series 4). I would rather order them from Bricklink and pay their prices if I'm going to do that......

Same with our local Shopko 6$ a piece makes ebay sellers look like a deal.

Also check with Five Below if you have one in your town our local one got some in last week along with a couple of the Walmarts. I bought mine a couple of weeks ago at TRU.

The ToysToysToys franchise store up here do the same thing - the dirty rats!

The list a pricetag of $5.99(can) and then under it the price sticker says "SALE" with a price of $4.99

Pretty fething lame and rather shady if you ask me...

I'll just keep picing mine up at the local Chapters or Indigo stores where I can get them for the standard $3.50 & also get a 5% discount as well!

I scanned a wrapper at the local Target and it listed what aisle they were in (nothing in sight). And it said not in stock room. And none of the employees knew what I was talking about involving little LEGO figures that they sold. I guess that toy department really knows their stuff....

By the time they get them, the next series will be scheduled for release, although those won't be around here until another few months after that.

Finally found a few at TRU in Fair View Heights, IL. Picked up the Heroic Knight, Chicken Suit Guy, and the Evil Space Marine (don't remember what he's called).

I was beginning to think I'd never find 'em. Usually the CMs are at all the stores around me (Walmarts and Targets). But now, it was just one small sighting at TRU...

At the Toys R Us that I work at in West Michigan we just sold out of our CMs. We started out with 4 boxes around the middle or maybe the end of January, and were down to one last week, and then there were none left this weekend. I would assume we would be getting more in at some point, as it feels like they just came out? There are still plenty at all the Meijers I check though, which is good because I still need a Gypsy and a Roman dude, and maybe a Plumber.

These are still getting restocked at TRUs around here (WA state) - I just picked up four more Forest Maidens. Bartells have dried up and/or gotten picked over to the point where it's not worth it. Still nothing at Target or Walmart and both have been out of CMF S8 for so long, I'm not surprised that some employees don't know what CMF are.

Exactly! How do some of the people in the toy department not know about the figures. No one seems to understand what they are, even though I see the same people working in that department each time I go there. I don't understand.

The last time I went to TRU, they were pretty dry also. I'm sure the stores are limiting their supply since they were leftover with previous stock those other times. But I could be completely wrong also.

I went to my local TRU last Saturday and I searched for the Hollywood Starlet, but the one with the dress that is there is the Fortune Teller. However, I got Mr. Good and Evil and its easy to find.

Has there been a change in the figure distribution in this series? I have had the chance to hunt through two seperate brand newly opened boxes of figures, one at TRU - opened by me, the other at the lego store opened by an employee in front of me. I searched for figures with skirts. In both of them there were only two fortune tellers, two elf maidens and two actresses. I'm normally very good at finding figures, I find it unlikely I'ld get the same box distribution at two different places, especially 2:2:2 when I expected 3:3:3. One box I had time to recheck and didnt find any more skirted figures the second time around.

That's because the skirted figures are the least distributed since clearly boys don't want to play with girls (sarcasm). They only come 1 per 30 pack box or 2 per 60 pack box.

Thank you! Goodness. I remember reading the review on the figures but not the distribution part. How bazaar but now I understand why I had a hard time finding extra plumbers also.
