DLuders Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 @ Sariel: The extra explanatory notes you placed on your Parts List are very helpful! Thanks! Quote
junior Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) Great MOC, sariel! Thank you so much for providing the parts list! There's just 2 parts I really could not find at Bricklink: 1) from your list the one under the Part 2343 Minifig, Utensil Goblet ; 2) the part you use around the trans-orange 1x1 round plates (2 at the front of the car, 2 next to both doors), they look like kind of a bowl, rather than a dish. Could you please tell the Bricklink-#s? Edited January 5, 2013 by junior Quote
Sariel Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 1. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=71075 2. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x85 I have put a list with parts numbers here: http://sariel.pl/down/mb540-parts-list.html Quote
Sariel Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 The full building instruction finally: http://sariel.pl/down/mb540k-bi.pdf Enjoy, and thanks for your patience. Quote
DLuders Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 @ Sariel: Thanks for taking the time to prepare the EXCELLENT building instructions for your Lego Technic Mercedes 540K ! Now we can all "ride in style"! Quote
PsyKater Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Thank you very much! I will pay a lot of money for bricks this year, just to build some of your models (and from some other MOCers as well...) Are you planning to publish a XML Wanted List file for Bricklink? And do you upload it to Rebrickable, so one can check which parts he already has? Edited January 11, 2013 by PsyKater Quote
Sariel Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Are you planning to publish a XML Wanted List file for Bricklink? And do you upload it to Rebrickable, so one can check which parts he already has? Nope. I've put weeks of work into this instruction already. Quote
PsyKater Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 No problem, I know your opinion about instructions. Therefore, we are very pleased with what we got! Thanks a lot! Can we somehow donate you (flattr, paypal...) for your work? Quote
Sariel Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Sure, my Paypal account is shown on page 2 of the instruction. Thank you. Quote
Hopey Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I fear that there may soon be a shortage of red 61678 curved slopes on bricklink pretty soon, among other parts... Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) There is a small mistake on step 6 with a floating 1x4 black plate. But thanks for the instructions. Edited January 11, 2013 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
Sariel Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Oh, right. Too many black pieces, I guess :) Quote
Meatman Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Thanks you for doing this Sariel. Much appreciated. Quote
shadowhearth Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Sariel, fair play to you m8. Cheers for going through all the effort of putting up the instructions. I am not going to build this one, but it is going to my archives! Quote
jadedomg Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Thanks for the excellent instructions to a great model! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I don´t like very much like this type of MOCs but is my fault, I just pay attention to the inside but I recognize a lot of effort and a good work in his field and this always be acknowledged with sincere thanks, if one day I become collector and I build it, no doubt that I'll make a donation. DLuders Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Sariel's Lego Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster has been added to Rebrickable. Thanks, Paweł, for shawing your MOC and to Nathan Thom (Technicmad) for "tweaking" the Rebrickable parts list! Quote
Bricksonwheels Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I won't copy your excellent Benz, but you did a great job on the instructions. Quote
Sariel Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Here's a very good copy built by Efjie. Feel invited to share yours :) Quote
