Wow, I like those! I'm really excited for this movie. Fredzilla seems cool. Any word on who the villain is in this movie?

Marketing for GotG is in full swing! They have just opened a new website. Who wouldn't want to take a Galaxy Getaway vacation?

I just watches The Punisher and Punisher: Warzone, just Man-Thing to go, and I've seen all the Marvel films from 2000.

The first Punisher was excellent, seeing Frank use brains and an actual plan to beat Saint was a lot better than the shooting-fest I expected.

War Zone was okay, it still seemed to flow as a sequel rather than the 'kinda reboot it was meant to be (flows better than the Ghost Rider films that are still sequels with bigger continuity errors than Punisher). Plot-wise and character-wise The Punisher was a lot better, but action wise (especially the raid on the hotel) War Zone was much better.

Seeing them both leaves me a bit unsure about the reboot as part of the MCU, unless they get Thomas Jane on-board, he made the character for me.

I also saw Dirty Laundry as well, it 'kinda resembled a MCU One-Shot in style and length, a story that looks like a lead up to a full length plot later on.

FX has been running a new GotG TV spot all day during their 4th of July Marvel movie marathon. (Or as FX thinks of it, Saturday! But on a Friday!)

*Sorry in advance for the highly unstructured review.*

I saw the exclusive 17 minute IMAX showing of GOTG last night. Wow! As an avid fan of GOTG, this looks fantastic. There is a nice blend of comedy and action, more leaning towards comedy with what was shown. It looks and feels exactly like a comic book. There is a clear threat of Ronan the Accuser, but he is never fully shown. I like this and I hope turns out to be a "mentioned but not shown" type of villain in the final film, sort of like Jabba the Hutt in the theatrical OT. I'm completely sold on Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon. He gets some laugh-out-loud one-liners. I was really rooting for Dave Bautista to be good as Drax: in interviews he always sounds so humble and he seems like a great guy. I'm happy to say that he is awesome as Drax. He is HUGE and has good comedic timing. We weren't really shown much of him in the preview. Chris Pratt is always a pleasure to watch. Groot grew and shrunk A LOT throughout the footage, so his LEGO appearance makes a bit more sense now. The IMAX was awesome! I was sucked into the world right from the opening moments. All in all, this is going to be a hit. I love everything I saw.

Okay, I have a question about Big Hero 6 for all of you with good facial recognition. Now I know Honey Lemon looks like Rapunzel, even I can see the resemblance there. I'm not talking about that. But there are a number of people on tumblr who thinks Gogo Tomago looks like Rapunzel/Elsa as well. Which I can't see at all.

Now I am the first to admit I stink at recognizing faces, so I have to ask all of you, is there a resemblance between Gogo Tomago and Disney's Rapunzel? Or is tumblr just being paranoid because of Honey Lemon?

It's just the artist / art style. BH6 is by the same people who made Tangled and Frozen, so the art, especially the less stylized human characters tend to be similar. No matter how much they try and fight it, some things just bleed through.

You beat me to it! But I actually kinda of like it! It's cool and very creepy looking. This may be his first or second incarnation, seeing as his wires are exposed and he's not too shiny looking. The drones in the background are creepy and definitely look like ultron/iron man hybrids. This cap suit is amazing and by far my favorite so far!

Love Hawkeye's new outfit as well as Cap's. Not a huge fan of Quicksilver though.

I love Ultron's look, as well as (what I assume to be) the look of Avengers Tower. Quicksilver looks alright, and I assume he'll look a bit better once the film itself comes out. Cap looks great too. Definitely my favorite version of the costume.

So it seems Ultronbots will be the Chitauri of this movie. I'm really looking forward to the final boss battle, Ultron will be a formidible foe and I'm sure he won't go down as easily as Loki.

TBH I'm not liking the twin's costumes atm. Quicksilver's just doesn't look right, Wanda's isn't really a costume.

I'm kind of interested in who is on the couch with Cap, I can't really tell even the skin pigmentation. I'm hoping it's Falcon, I think he was confirmed to be in this movie.

Potential plot spoilers:

It was said in the magazine I believe that Ultron and his drones were created by Tony to combat foes around the world so that the avengers wouldn't have to. Then they go rouge and such I'm guessing.

From the fact that it sort of looks like the person is wearing a black shirt (under some sort of red jacket), I think it could possibly be Fury. But it could really be nearly anybody.

I remember reading somewhere that all of the Avengers have team logos this time around, even Hulk on his shorts. I only see it on Captain America right now, but maybe it'll be there for the rest of them.

I believe he was referring to Cap's Avengers logo that's on the new outfit. You'd have to be literally blind not to see Cap on the couch

Very cool, I like Ultron, he will probably be more metallic looking at the end of the film. The magazine said Avengers Tower will be a central location in the film. Hopefully that means a LEGO Marvel D2C Avengers Tower next year.
