Marvelfan120 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 personally I feel like marvel needs to kill a big character. Killing Coulson didn't have impact because he was never a major character before avengers and he came back... The death of Quicksilver had less impact because he was just introduced... I think it needs to be Cap, I think it would give the film what it needs, IMPACT. It would also give people a reason to stop and think about what they are doing. I think killing War Machine just makes Iron Man and company angry and stirs things up further, Cap's death on the other hand would make Stark say, oh (expletive deleted) what have we done! BTW: In other, sort of, news, http://nerdreactor.com/2016/03/04/exclusive-agent-carter-to-be-renewed-for-season-3/ Perhaps take this with a grain of salt but (hopefully) agent carter will return for a (most likely final) season 3. If this is true I think they will try and find something else to fill in during the hiatus after next season. I think they want a marvel show to fill in during the break... It's the only reason I can see them renewing such a poor performer (although I liked both seasons of the show). Quote
NXS7 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Captain America Civil War: 2 hours, 26 minutes/146 minutes Quote

Marvelfan120 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Nice. I'm glad they're not cutting it down too much.... I get sick of the bite size culture that wants every film to follow the same formula, be 2 hours and have the the same plot elements... okay, getting down off the soapbox now. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Apparently we're getting another trailer on March 10th. Quote
EdWebhead Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Zendaya's been cast in the new Spider-Man reboot as a character named Michelle. Don't know how significant she'll be in the movie. Definitely an interesting choice. Quote
Ultron Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 My guess is she's either playing Michelle Gonzales or maybe it's a cover/new name for White Tiger. Now THAT'D be cool. Quote
K-Nut Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) New Civil War Trailer is up with Spider-Man. The movie looks great, but I don't know how to feel about Spidey's Costume... Edited March 10, 2016 by K-Nut Quote
EdWebhead Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I'm so hyped!!! So excited for this, and I love Spider-Man's costume!!! Yes it's a bit cartoonish but I think it works! Can't wait!!! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) That's a great trailer! I think I needed that. It's a little cliche in spots, especially with the doom and gloom soundtrack, but there is an awful lot to like. I just hope the movie can deliver and not feel overstuffed. Edit: "underoos" Edited March 10, 2016 by rodiziorobs Quote
Zilcho Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Good trailer, if a little revealing. Still though, the Ant Man shot looks great. Spidey's costume is nothing if underwhelming but hopefully that's his home-made one and he gets a decent costume later. Also kind of bummed they made the same mistake as BvS trailer and spoiled Spidey's introduction. Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Nerdgasm! Loved the new CA:CW trailer! Ant-Man flying through the air! Spider-Man! I really dig his costume, too. It's a nice blend of the traditional costume and small changes, like the blue 'v's on the arms and boots, to help it to fit in with the Avengers-universe aesthetic. I'd say the design is quite nice, but I wonder how a minifigure of it would differ from the standard Spidey figure. "Underoos" indeed. Hilarious. If the Russo brothers weren't handling this, I might worry about this film being overstuffed, but I've enjoyed almost all of their other work, so I have confidence in this one too. Bring it on! Spidey's costume is nothing if underwhelming but hopefully that's his home-made one and he gets a decent costume later. To each his own, I suppose, but I seriously doubt that's his homemade costume. Notice the electronic whirring when his eyes squint. Sounds like too much tech in the mask for teenage Parker to cobble together. I could always be wrong, but I imagine that's the suit Tony helps him build. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Everybody knew Spidey was in the movie, so getting even a teeny glimpse is nice! Very, very excited to see it all unfold. I really hope at some point Steve says his line from the comic "I think this will split us right down the middle" Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I like the new Spider-Man costume. Suitably back-to-basics. Quote
Ceroknight Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Not a fan of Spiderman's suit. I actually think its the opposite of basics with all those unnecessary black highlights. Maybe I'll like it better once I see more of it though. Quote
kevkipo Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 That Spidey is perfect! I'm actually a big fan of this suit! Fits in right with the MCU, He deserves arm printing, he needs it! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I don't actually think that will be Spidey's intro in the movie. By the airport scene, we will have already seen him. That line he says is likely from the movie, but a different scene. So, his actual movie introduction will still be a surprise. The official press release for the movie alludes to 'another incident' which causes collateral damage. I'm guessing it is early in the movie, and is partly Spider-Man's fault. We will see him early, he will miss out on a lot of movie (in hiding, for example), and eventually joins Iron Man because he is feeling guilty and wants to try and fix whatever mistake he made. Just MHO. Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Spiderman's suit might be a bit to cartoonish for me. I honestly liked the Toby Maguire suit the best. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 New trailer was awesome- don't mind Spidey's suit, but I think it could have been better. Maybe a little darker red would have helped. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) I wasn't wanting to see spidey, but a friend showed it to me and after that I had to see the trailer. The trailer was perfect in not showing too much, it was just right. Not the best of this year, but enough to make me still interested in this movie. Spiderman has potential to be my favorite character. Edited March 10, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
NXS7 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) By the time I get to see Civil War, I won't be as excited to see Spider Man as I was 48 hours ago. Also, should Rhodey actually die, I don't think I would find it one bit emotional or surprising. Though I keep saying that he would be heavily injured, seeing as they showed it in the trailer Edited March 11, 2016 by Quicksilver838 Quote
Forresto Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I loved the trailer but I think some of the lines were a bit deceptive in setting up the fight between Iron Man and Captain America. Quote
kevkipo Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I just heard a theory that in those yellow container cells we see in the trailer, Quicksilver could be held... If that's true :O Also, if Rhodey bites it, Perfect timing! Just do it before Infinity War Quote
