NXS7 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Also, turns out that Mads is actually playing Mordred The Mystic. I wasn't expecting that at all. Mads: http://www.joblo.com...image-2-4-4.jpg Mordred The Mystic: http://i.annihil.us/..._the_Mystic.jpg Interesting turn of events. To be honest though, the director did say nobody has guessed Mad's character yet. And only now have I seen anyone say him Quote

NXS7 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I always thought they were related. Well that's a worse idea for a romance series (no offence if anyone is into that kinda stuff, I don't judge) Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 So the MCU's first rom-com? Or a MCU Desperate Housewives? Yeah I'll pass on that. Quote
Ultron Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 So the MCU's first rom-com? Or a MCU Desperate Housewives? Yeah I'll pass on that. I wouldn't say it's that...Cloak and Dagger are pretty cool characters. Their entire existence focuses on their relationship to one another so as long as they don't make it cheesy/cringe-worthy it should be pretty good. Anyway, I saw a video Marvel posted about the women of Civil War and it showed Agent 13 throwing it down with Bucky! I'm very impressed, to say the least. I'm glad she's going to be getting in on the action. I really hope this movie is a masterpiece. It so could be. Quote

When I heard this news...I just thought it was an odd choice. From what I know of them, they don't seem like that. At all. Quote

HawkLord Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 That's the one thing I dislike about the comic movie explosion from 2000 to present - almost every B-level character gets one shot at a movie. If it tanks for any reason, no one will touch it again. Look at Daredevil, Punisher, Catwoman, etc. I'm not a particular fan of Cloak and Dagger (no reason, just never read them), but I'd hope they'd get a fair chance at a comic-based movie that accurately portrays them. xboxtravis7992 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Such early screenings? Yikes. Spoilers for a whole 2 weeks before it opens to full audiences :P Quote
CM4Sci Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 One was in Minneapolis (20 minutes away!) and I missed the tickets. Rrrgh, I would have loved to go. Quote

Starrocks923 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Oh great, Washington D.C. Screening is sold out. Always wanted to go to one of these prescreenings... I guess I'll have to be content with the bragging right that on my way to the theater to watch Winter Soldier, I passed by the Triskelion. :P No real spoilers in the reviews, but we get a few nice hints: -Spider-Man gets more screen time than a "cameo". -Black Panther presumably is introduced in costume in an action scene. -Baron Zemo sounds like he isn't much of a presence in the movie, but one reviewer likened him to BvS Lex Luthor. This at least gives us an idea on his role. -Ant-Man is a close second for most entertaining hero after Spiderman. -Sam and Bucky have a "dynamic". Both of them are Steve's best friends, so it'll be fun to see them get along. -Wanda has something major in the story that impacts her character in a spoilery way. (Death? Mystery kiss? Causing the destruction in the opening act? Going crazy with her powers?) That last one was from a reviewer who mentioned that he can't comment on how Wanda is portrayed as a feminist. I find this rather humorous, as, to quote i09, "Marvel released a featurette called “In Good Company,” in which the company congratulates itself for putting three whole women in Captain America: Civil War." Such early screenings? Yikes. Spoilers for a whole 2 weeks before it opens to full audiences :P Three weeks for some of us.!Back when TFA was released, Heavy.com decided to post a news article that spoiled a certain death, and Google displayed the thumbnail... CM4Sci Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) EDIT: Falcon. Never knew his actual name, oops. Edited April 9, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 With Civil War less then a month away in America, I have made a list of least likely to die to most likely to die. Now I do not know who dies nor do I want to know tell I see the film, so this is all speculation. But I have decided to put it in spoiler tabs. Here is the list. 12. Black Panther(Has movie coming out in 2018.) 11. Spiderman (Has movie coming out in 2017.) 10. Antman (Has movie coming out in 2018.) 9. Scarlet Witch (I think marvel want's to do more with this character, maybe an Avengers Dissembled movie eventually.) 8. Vision (He has an Infinity Stone, unless Thanos is in the movie he is safe.) 7. Winter Solider (I think Marvel is setting up that he will become the new Captain America, so killing him now is very unlikely.) 6. Falcon (We don't know him enough for his death to have the impact it needs to be.) 5. War Machine (They have should him getting injured way to many times in the trailer. Marvel is smart enough to not show something that would kill him in the trailer.) 4. Hawkeye (A bow an arrow is not that much when you'r fighting someone with an infinity stone.) 3. Iron Man (A year ago this was my #1 most likely death, There's not that much you can do with this character except the real Mandarin.) 2. Captain America (He was the one to die in the comics.) 1. Black Widow (Marvel has said this movie would be unpredictable, to many people know about CA's death in the comics so that wouldn't be to much of a surprise. and if BW dies Hulk will find out and not trust the Avengers. That could lead into Planet Hulk. Quote
Jbricks Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Finished Daredevil season 2 recently. Loved it, though not quite as great as season one. I especially liked the fighting ninjas, as it was a cool challenge for DD to fight an enemy he couldn't hear. And I would have to say that the BEST part was when Punisher was taken to Kingpin. Wow, what a surprise. I thought he was going to be taken to a room where he was hired by Stick or the Hand to fight with/against DD, but no, a total surprise to see the awesome Kingpin back in action! Electra was pretty good. The thing that bothered me the most was the X-ray of Punisher's skull. Does he suffer from elongated tooth syndrome? I get that they wanted a sensible origin for the skull logo, but why not just make the symbol at the end be a poorly drawn attempt by Frank? Why make the X-ray so cartoony-looking? Quote
