How long is airport battle. I heard around 15 minutes. That is extremely satisfying if true

Yeah it's something like that. I would say it's the best fight scene ever in the MCU. It hasn't got a shakey camera, it's easy to follow everything that's happening.

Best film ever guys. Just remember if your looking for an adaptation of the comic series, it's nothing like that but it's still an amazing film that has me pumped for more Panther, more Spidey, more Ant Man, more Avengers

I'm seeing Civil War on Sunday with some friends! So excited! :excited: (Even though I already know the story... it's a thing I do so I'm not bothered by Youtube trolls and such...)

To be fair, there isn't really anything big that could be spoiled

What about Martin Freeman being revealed as Supreme Leader Snoke? That was a pretty solid twist.

Seeing it tonight! I have never been so excited about seeing a movie. I'm sure it's going to be my new favorite marvel movie.

It became mine as soon at the Marvel logo came up at the start

Technically a flashback Bucky scene came before the logo, and I'm not referring to that

WOW, this movie was so good! It's definitely my favorite Marvel movie! I loved loved loved the Vision/Scarlet Witch romancey conflict they had going on! Every character had really nice moments and Black Panther and Spidey were just awesome! I also really liked Baron Zemo, I don't think he is as bad as some people are making him out to be. I seriously only have one very minor complaint with the movie, that's how much I like it. Going to see it again tomorrow and Saturday!

Saw the movie last night, and I absolutely loved it! Missed a couple minutes of the airport scene thanks to a fire alarm :hmpf_bad: but now I at least have an excuse to go see it again! Zemo was awesome, hopefully he comes back for another film with a purple hood. My one gripe with the film would be the mid-credits and post-credits scenes- I just didn't really dig 'em, and they didn't tease anything too crazy.

Well the first one was sorta important and I think the second was trying to hint that

Spider-man is an Avenger now even though we all knew it

What, you didn't see that coming?

EDIT: Joke a friend of mine just told me: "What is Captain America's shield made out of? Vibranium. What is Hawkeye's shield made out of? Quicksilver." Sorry man.

I thought it was really good, not the best marvel movie, but top 3. There was some scenes that didn't make sense, but a lot of it did make sense. If you haven't seen any of the captain America movies, you're going to be confused. Thankfully I've seen them all, but there was a couple of things that I questioned. I loved all the action scenes, this movie definitely beats all the action scenes in superhero movies. The airport scene was amazing, ant man and Spiderman stood out there. They were definitely my favorites. I'm a bit dissapointed that some of my favorite characters didn't get much screen time, but they managed to do great with all the characters. I have to see it again sometime, it was great and I recommend it.

Watched the movie, it was great!

One thing I thought though was that the Civil War subtitle made no sense at all.

It doesn't? Is there not a civil war within the Avengers?

Civil war is a pretty big exaggeration honestly.

I feel they could have saved that title for the future after more heroes were introduced.

Ah finally I can join the conversation, I just saw movie! I will use spoiler tags to prevent ruining it for anyone:

DO NOT CLICK SPOILER UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN IT

Good movie! The whole film has a lot of anologies to the US in the political world. It also fully preserves the integrity of all the heroes. At the end of the film Tony and Steve still seem to be both good guys.

Steve's character arc is carried well. But I was surprised at how well Tony's character arc was carried. It's clear his PTSD from Iron Man 3 isn't gone, and he is still driven by guilt and pain. The fact he and Pepper are "taking a break" is a good way to justify the lack of her appearance in the film, and hints at future stories. It also hints how badly life is going for Tony, and why he is taking such extreme measures to "fix it." He is a natural mechanic, yet he cannot discover a way to fix his own life.

Steve's arc follows the same set up in Captain America Winter Soldier. He is still trying to adapt to a fight that is not just black and white. He wants to protect freedom, but is in a world where he can no longer see good and evil as easily.

Also Black Panther's arc is good. Glad we got to meet T'Chaka and see his death. It is a metaphor for the reasons Tony, Steve, and Zemo are doing what they are doing. And the fact T'Challa takes on this Zen approach is him coming to a realization of how anger had caused more problems then it solved.

Also, Spidey! Glad we didn't see the Uncle Ben story for the billionth time. The filmmakers knew we knew his story and skipped the spider bite set up completely. It's hinted that Uncle Ben died, so we know his back story is the same; but no time wasted. Spider-Man just shows up, and he just works!

Saw it this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was glad to see that the hero-beating-up-hero action wasn't just a gimmick, but really well grounded in the story and characters, unlike a lot of the justification for the action in AoU.

I thought CW was a little bit better than Winter Soldier. The CA solo films are still by far the most consistent performers out of the MCU.

I also liked that while some of the conflict was resolved by the end, there were some ends let loose, and that they didn't just resolve everything too easily.

I'm interested to see what is in Bucky's future, and also Zemo's. He was completely different from what I expected, although I did like the way he fit into the conflict, even if it means he holds little likeness to his comic character. I still am not sure where I rank him among the MCU villains, since when it comes down to it he didn't really do all that much.

Also, what does he mean by "or did it?" at the end, when Everett Ross tells him his plan failed? If he had some other big evil endgame/plan, why did he almost off himself back in Siberia? That doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense going forward, but I hope it means that we see more of him down the line. Even though he isn't the big Cap villain like in the comics (he is against all of the Avengers collectively at this point, rather than singling one out), I could totally see this iteration of Zemo putting together the Masters of Evil.

To answer your questions Mr Rodiz

Zemo tried to off himself because he has nothing left to live for anymore. His family is gone, and he has taken revenge on the people who killed them.

Also when Bilbo boasts that Zemo's plan failed, he replied "Did I?" which means that even though the Avengers didn't kill each other, they have divided
