Im a brickmaster. Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) Ok, to stire everyone into less spoilerish territory, who's excited for Xmen-Apocolypse?! I for one was really surprised/blown away by DOFP so I have high hopes for this one. The inclusion of younger students is cool and Apocolypse is one of my favorite Xvillans and so far I THINK he will be handled ok, I think. So far they've been pretty good about not revealing key plot points *cough BvS*hack which makes me hopeful we don't know a thing about it Edited April 22, 2016 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
Ultron Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I'm not really that excited for it. I didn't care for DoFP but I'll still probably end up seeing it. Quote

Don't really see how it can be spoiled. Doesn't have a clear story view, unlike BvS or Civil War Quote
EdWebhead Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I forgot Apocalypse was coming out! Yeah, Il'll probably see it, not that excited for it though. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Anyone see the new "10-Day countdown" teaser? More Spidey action! "You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!" Here's the link: Quote

That is awesome, dude!" Here's the link: I freaking love every new Spidey bit I see. He sounds so wonderfully young! Finally, the original quipster arrives in the MCU. Quote
kevkipo Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Guys, question, Civil War comes out tomorrow and i'm kinda thinking about seeing it the day after. It's in Belgium in a not so well visited theater, and everybody's at work, (I don't really like busy theaters so...) Should i go? or not? Quote

HawkLord Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Since I don't trust even that, I will see this thread later. Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Since I don't trust even that, I will see this thread later. Agreed, I believe there were some cases with BvS over in the DCEU thread. See you all May 8th! But, enjoy! The Civil War wave was actually the first full Lego wave I bought from Super Heroes before seeing the movie. Quote

SandMirror38 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Saw the movie yesterday, loved it! One of my favourite Marvel movies yet but found that some characters felt kinda wasted, the CGI looks really iffy in some bits around the middle bit and the 3rd act/climax felt kinda added on at the end... Tom Holland was amazing as Parker and Spidey! Quote

SandMirror38 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Was the Spidey suit too CGI or did it look good in action? Sadly it looked just that bit too CGI. There's some shots that look awful, also some stuff with Iron Man without his mask on that looked really bad Quote
The Brigante Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Sadly it looked just that bit too CGI. There's some shots that look awful, also some stuff with Iron Man without his mask on that looked really bad I watched it at midnight last night, and thought Spidey looked fine! Although I agree with the Iron Man part. Especially in the airport scenes. There were a couple of times it felt like RDJ was just in front of a green screen. Took me out of the movie each time. Still, I completely agree with the reviews saying that Black Panther, Spidey and Ant-Man are the highlights! They all stole the show for me!!!! Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I saw it at midnight last night aswell and I thought the CGI was a little patchy with Iron Man at times like mentioned, but it didn't really get bad enough to detract from the film for me. Overall a great film and I really, really enjoyed it! Exactly what I feel they needed after the mixed reception that Age of Ultron received! Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 So, on the discussion of other MCU properties: there's officially a Punsiher Netflix series coming! Quote
Agent Kallus Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I didn't notice any terrible cgi but I don't really mind cgi. Wow martin Freeman's accent . Quote
Zilcho Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Tom Holland nailed it as Spider-Man! Really looking forward to Homecoming. Loved T'challa too. The airport fight scene was a real spectacle too. Quote
legosamsonite Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 How long is airport battle. I heard around 15 minutes. That is extremely satisfying if true Quote
