Where is Ultron's signature grin? Forgive me for jumping the gun and being too critical, but Ultron has always been my favorite comic villain and it just isn't Ultron with a weird face like that, no way in hell. I'm hoping it's just a drone or he'll possibly upgrade later. Visually this looks like a lot like his awful Ultimate counterpart.

Scarlet Witch looks like a random vampire baddy from any Buffy episode. Maybe Whedon was having a throwback in the costume shop.

These designs will probably look properly epic from careful angles with lots of CG going on in the actual film, though.

I'm going to assume (hope) they'll animate the mouth because he can't just speak through a closed mouth. Not a big fan of these eyes either, but we'll see when they release an actual picture of him. I'll still probably die of excitement whatever he looks like, but the one in the teaser looked so perfect, I hope that's what they're sticking to.

Quicksilver, I like for the most part. His shirt isn't bland like the concept art. I like that they payed homage to his lightning bolt by having the patterns on the sides. Scarlet Witch looked better in the concept art, I'm not really a fan of the black dress. She doesn't really look like a superhero to me, but I'm optimistic. She'll still be BA. Ultron I don't want to hate because he's the best, but the eyes and mouth do bug me, if this is the real Ultron. Although I can't help but think of this guy from Scooby-doo 2 when I see him I don't know why though..

These designs don't look horrible, just not good. I'm sure they'll be great when finalized and edited, though.

I agree. I really hope they keep the signature Ultron mouth and my guess is that it'll be animated too.

I think Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch look fine. Their uniforms were crazy enough to not work in the real world (especially Scarlet Witch). I'm not saying this is the best they could do but it's good enough.

I'm kind of getting a Star Lord vibe from that Ultron suit, but that's probably unintentional. It's definitely not the final suit, though, and I expect it'll look very different once it's gone through pre-vis and everything.

I think the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver outfits look fine, especially if they're just civilian clothes. They look like a slight upgrade from the concept art we've seen, personally.

That Ultron looks awesome so far. The "face" isn't at all what I was expecting, but it looks impressive enough for me to not need to complain about it. I also really like how creepy the face looks. Quicksilver still looks bland, but also still better than his upcoming appearance in DoFP. Scarlet Witch looks slightly more plain than the concept art had us believe, but it's still acceptable (and I'm sure she'll look amazing when using her powers).

It's not technically MCU, but we finally have a new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. This looks like it's going to be brilliant, and I'm loving how awesome the Sentinels are looking.

I think this is more a general Marvel films thread now .

Well I'm wanting this more than A:AoU, I love the X-Men films (even 3 don't kill me). I'm curious how the stinger of The Wolverine fits into this? Professor X and Magneto are asking for Wolverines help in the far future, not 2016 or so.

I wonder if that is Ultron, it could be one of the robots Quicksilver was smashing in the concept art.

Or perhaps that is the "good" version, i.e. the one designed to protect the Earth, and maybe at some point in the film Ultron changes his look to match the more darker looking one from the SDCC teaser.

Alas, all I can say without spoiling anything significant is that Sitwell is reassigned to that ship at the beginning of TWS, as seen in the preview clip.

If Ultron is indeed made by the government to protect the world, I can see why they would do it now, should the rumors be true. If anyone cares, the rumor I saw in two separate places was:

SHIELD no longer exists at the end of the film.

Actually looking at that supposed "Ultron" head. Is it just me, or does it seem to have more than a touch of Anihilus about it? At least in how it is shaped, the eyes, and way the mouth looks hinged?
