The Legonater Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Watching Iron Man 2 on TV and can't help but wonder if Senator Stern was HYDRA then... I'm assuming yes. It brings a whole new light to his actions - doubtless HYDRA wanted to acquire the armour. So I assume Winter Soldier spoilers are fine now? I suppose it has been a month. Quote

So I assume Winter Soldier spoilers are fine now? I suppose it has been a month. Yeah, it's been a month and a half. Let's just make it official: We will now be discussing the events of Winter Soldier freely. Not that I'm a mod or anything but....I think we should let people know. Watching Iron Man 2 on TV and can't help but wonder if Senator Stern was HYDRA then... I agree with The Legonator, I think the whole point of putting him in WS was to point out his A-holeness from IM2 being because he's from an evil organization Quote

I suppose he figured that was as good a chance as any to get rid of an Avenger/threat to HYDRAs plans. Edited May 19, 2014 by Legocrazy81 Quote
Tanma Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Yeah, not to mention Sitwell. He might not have done much, but in the Consultant he works to prevent the Abomination from joining the Avengers. But even though the Abomination was kept in military containment, he ended up at the Fridge, if we are to believe that Couson was correctly informed. I know we didn't see Abomination in AoS because of budget, but I wonder if he already is in Hydra hands. Masters of Evil might be coming up. Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Just a few hours to go until the new Guardians trailer drops!! Can't wait! Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 (edited) Masters of Evil would be brilliant. We've got Abomination, Blizzard, Blackout, and a few others so far, while I see Zemo, Enchantress and Executioner only a matter of time. They could introduce Wonder Man that way as well, hence have him join the Avengers later on. Edited May 19, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick Quote
Tanma Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I would be shocked if Amora isn't in Thor 3. We already met her sister in AoS, and she is one of the most well known female Marvel villains. Plus with Loki in charge, I would be interested to see what side the Enchantress is on. Would she be working for Loki, or trying to gather power for herself? Quote

With Weadon as one of the big story writers plus general overseer it rules him out of the MCU for a few years. Quote
Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 We've been waiting for it, and here it is: the new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy. I'll be honest, I didn't think I could get more excited for this, but this trailer has thrown my excitement levels through the roof! I honestly can't wait for this; it's going to be epic! Quote
Ultron Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 So awesome So that one planet that looks like a skull, does it have a name? Quote

Faefrost Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 So awesome So that one planet that looks like a skull, does it have a name? If it's what I think it is, it's not a planet. It's Knowhere. The severed head of a Celestial. An ancient space god. http://marvel.wikia.com/Knowhere Kind of a Mos Eisley/Babylon 5 out on the very edge of the universe. Here's hoping a Russian speaking Dog shows up. Quote

Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 The trailer didn't show him for little more than fleeting glimpses, but someone was able to get this excellent screenshot of Ronan: Quote

Ceroknight Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Yea the Lego Ronan looks more villain like Movie looks great though! Quote
Faefrost Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Wow that guy looks silly. I want more Nebula . It probably looks a lot better in motion. The outfit is actually surprisingly close to the typical comic rendition of the character. Just swapping out the bright green for much darker or black colors. Quote
Floundie Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Well, took me a while but I finally caught up on AOS. I'm a bit disappointed about Ward, hopefully he'll get some kind of redemption next season. Meanwhile Skye remains my least favorite character in the series... The finale was good, it had it's moments but I can't help feeling a tad disappointed. All those past episodes building up to something big, the deliver just didn't cut it for me. I never felt like the whole Coulson thing was ever wrapped up completely. I was really expecting it to be resolved. Patton Oswalt was funny though, I like to think we'll be seeing more of him in the MCU. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 This will sound like a stupid question....but just to confirm my suspensions. GOTG does not take place on earth right? I've had enough of aliens attacking earth! Quote
The Legonater Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy takes place far, far away from Earth. If it shows up at all, it will be in backstory. Quote

He's finally an interesting character. Quote
