Ultron Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I can't see the picture you posted, but I'm going to assume it's the classic costume. Which, in my opinion, is the best fit for her. It's not, it's the one with the lightning bolt. Not a big fan of her classic costume and her shorter hair. Quote
Mr Man Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Although revealing, I really hope they use this costume. She looks straight up BA. Maybe they could get around using a leotard by giving her pants or something though. I wonder if the Wonder Woman in Batman Vs Superman will have a unitard. (Or if she's even suiting up in the movie at all) Make the top slightly more armoured and add a pair of trousers. It wouldn't be that much different from Hawkeyes costume from A:A. Quote
Cammo Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 the new amazing trailer from Guardians of the Galaxy has been released. My expectations are getting high, hopefully not too high: Quote
Tanma Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 So...supposedly Trip from AoS was also seen on the filming of Avengers Age of Ultron. Though I doubt it, if its true I suppose he will be there to inform the Avengers that SHIELD is trying to reform. And Coulson can't come since they would need to explain why he's not dead. Quote

That's interesting. If they're not going for Coulson, Triplet is a good choice. He really seems like he's part of the MCU to me. Quote
Masked Builder Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 New trailer looks good! Really excited for this movie. It's not, it's the one with the lightning bolt. Not a big fan of her classic costume and her shorter hair. Bah, I don't like that one. Quote
Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Every trailer released for this movie massively increases my excitement for it. It was nice to see more character interactions this time, and to hear Gamora speak for the first time. We also saw slightly more of Ronan, which is always very exciting. Another great trailer; hopefully the movie can live up to the expectation placed on it by such good trailers. Quote
Spider-Man Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 WOW! That trailer made it ever so clear that Chris Pratt was the PERFECT choice for Star-Lord! After this movie I would be willing to bet he will be in the same boat as RDJ in the sense that he is actually seen as Tony Stark. Comic lovers everywhere will only know Star-Lord as Chris Pratt and I can't wait for it! Quote

(Or if she's even suiting up in the movie at all) Word is that Wonder Woman will be wearing a Straszinski era outfit with pants. Most fans seem a bit annoyed about that. They were hoping for something a little more indicative of Greek Armor. Like a Xena outfit but colorful. Well crafted leather armor and skirting. Legs bare for combat, not sex appeal, sort of thing. I hoped she would be wearing a redder version of Superman's costume, but then again I expected the strongest character in the DC universe to be played by an actor with muscles. Quote

The Legonater Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 It's kind of funny that they mention Widow's 'widow bite'. She's had those previously, and made a lot of use if them in Avengers if nothing else. Quote
Faefrost Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) Oh man! There are apparently a number of leaks and reveals from GotG floating around today, as completed scenes are shown at various cons. Reports are all of it just looks better and better. and then it just takes a turn to th unbelievably awesome. If the leak is true it may have potentially given away a not yet announced phase 3 movie, the main character and the actor playing him. At the very least figure it will play into Avengers 3. Did I mention IT IS AWESOME! The report is that the end credit scene will introduce another Marvel hero to the MCU. Who it is should really come as no surprise given what we have seen in all the trailers. I speak of Richard Rider. Nova Centurion #11249-44396. The man called NOVA. Needless to say given all the Nova Corps we have seen in the trailers, and his traditional close ties with GotG, and his ongoing war with Thanos this is hardly surprising. It all clicks perfectly and puts one of the major players for a Thanos story on the table. But then comes mention of who might be wearing the gold hat. Remember awhile back it became known that perennial nerd fan favorite actor Nathan Fillion would have a cameo in GotG, and he made some off hand remark about the credits? So yeah! There's a good chance that he might be playing the human rocket himself. If this turns out to be the case legions of "Browncoats" will literally wet themselves in the theater as captain Mal reynolds returns to space. *oh2* Edited June 20, 2014 by Faefrost Quote

Ultron Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 So how do you guys think GotG will end? That's something I've been wondering. I think Thanos will probably end up getting the infinity gem, but will that ultimately mean our "heroes" will fail? I can't see any of them dying but if they end up keeping the stone, that just means Thanos will have to get control of it in a later movie. The Lego Milano set shows Ronan with the gem so I guess he gets it from Starlord at some point in the film. I guess they could still win and give it to the Collector, but they already did that with the Aether.. Quote
Cammo Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Glimpse at the new and returning animated cartoons for the fans: Quote
Sam892 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Glimpse at the new and returning animated cartoons for the fans: There's supposedly a wolverine cartoon inbound as well as the logo was glimpsed on a marvel stall. Quote
Tanma Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 And I'm just here; missing Earth-8096 Wasp and Earth's Mightiest Heroes. That and everything he did to Earth-1610 is why I hate Lobe. More on topic, I'm still upset that Wasp wasn't an Avenger in Phase one of the MCU. Did we really need two Iron-Men movies in phase one? Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 There's supposedly a wolverine cartoon inbound as well as the logo was glimpsed on a marvel stall. Woohoo! More X-Men sets hopefully. I didn't know about the GOTG cartoon, when was that announced? Quote
Clone OPatra Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 More on topic, I'm still upset that Wasp wasn't an Avenger in Phase one of the MCU. Did we really need two Iron-Men movies in phase one? Yes?I know people knock Iron Man 2, but honestly it did a pretty decent job capitalizing on a character that people immediately liked. Iron Man is awesome, and while Iron Man 1 did a good job introducing him to audiences, Iron Man 2 probably solidified him. The success of the MCU was still far from a sure thing at that point. Iron Man 2 also introduced Nick Fury in a nice fashion and made Tony central to the creation of the Avengers. What we didn't really need was another craptastic Hulk movie, since Avengers itself gave Hulk all the introduction that was actually necessary for the character. Tony did need the development over two films, though, or at least the films themselves made his development feel necessary. Quote

If Wasp is not in the Ant-man movie I can almost guarantee she will appear in some form in phase 3. Whedon will definitely want her in Avengers 3. She's his favorite character. I bet he even made sure that she will be put into Antman so that he will have the chance to work with her. Edited June 22, 2014 by Ultron Quote
SandMirror38 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 She could be in the movie just as normal and then the end - credit scene is her becoming wasp and finding Ant-Man injured or somethin? Quote
