K-Nut Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Eh, it's already online. I am super excited for this movie now. The darker tone already seems great. Ultron looks pretty good too. Not at all what I expected from him. EDIT: Also forgot to say how cool the Hulbuster looks. Plus is that Andy Serkis I see? Nice to know a little bit about what he's doing. K-Nut Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm pretty sure that's him around 1:28ish. Could be wrong though. Quote
Ultron Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm on the verge of tears!!! That was beautiful! Plus Marvel just officially released the trailer! And they tweeted "Dammit, Hydra." I Love them! Quote
The Legonater Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Such a well-done trailer. Particularly impressed that it doesn't spoil anything new, it only shows us things we've already seen, just in a better light. That's how you do a trailer. Quote

rodiziorobs Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Holy Hulkbuster! Incredible trailer. Is it May yet? The hand right above Cap's broken shield (which is a pretty amazing revelation in its own right) is Thor's right? Gotta say it: If someone does die in AoU, I wouldn't be surprised if it were Thor. Of course this trailer is a teaser, so I am totally open to being wrong... Edited October 23, 2014 by rodiziorobs Quote
Starrocks923 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 The trailer should have been on Agents of Shield. Not only will ratings not go up, but now Disney won't be enthusiastic about showing new trailers very far in advance. The guy who leaked it might have even postponed the Star Wars episode VII trailer for a long time. But still, what a great trailer. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Doubtful. The trailer got a lot of hype, and they can still release in with Agents of Shield. It's not like it hurt the attention, and it was going to go online right after it aired anyways. Leaking it had nothing to do with Agents of Shield, it had everything to do with someone getting the file and leaking it. It won't affect Disney's plans or any Star Wars release trailer, which we won't be getting for a long time anyways because it comes out next December, over a full year from now. Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Awesome trailer! My God... So... about andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaw (or something?)... I read somewhere that he has ties to Vibranium and that person suggested he will be in the movie because Ultron wants Vibranium to reinforce his 'skin'. But I was thinking... what if the Avengers (or just Cap) go(es) to Wakanda to create a new shield for Cap? Also, I love how the Hulkbuster looks... Was there any speculation on how the Hulk goes on a rampage? (haven't checked this topic for ages because I wanna keep the movie itself a surprise and everything as much as possible) I just wanna say I really hope it's a temporary mind control or something... Regards, Mitch Quote
Clone OPatra Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Doesn't the Hulk go on rampages just because that's what he does? I thought having to deal with Hulk temper control was a pretty common Avengers trope. It happened in the first film - I can see it happening again just to a greater degree, which calls for the Hulkbuster armor. Quote
SandMirror38 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 i heard a rumour that sounds pretty awesome.. Spoiler?.. Simulator ;) Quote

The shot of him in the woods and on the Quinjet make it look like he's losing it, which would make another rampage plausible. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Those still worried about the Agents of Shield ratings, Marvel has stepped up their game and announced that instead of the trailer, an 'exclusive scene' will be shown during the air of the episode. I'm guessing this will be the scene shown at Comic-Con. Quote
Mr Man Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Cumberbatch is Dr Strange! Again? Wasn't this mentioned and shot down a couple of months ago? Quote
The Legonater Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 It was, but reports have sparked up again that he's in final talks with Marvel. I haven't heard anything official, though. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 http://marvel.com/news/movies/23547/marvel_studios_announces_full_phase_3_slate_at_special_event Well, they've done it. The full scope of phase three has been unveiled! Thor: Ragnrok? Infinity wars? Civil war? It's all happening Quote
Mr Man Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) http://io9.com/marve...apta-1651832265 Well this is looking quite good. 2019 is still close enough to get all the good films seen before the inevitable decline of the genre. Also Captain Marvel will be Ms. Marvel, that's good, along with Black Panther, it's still a shame it took them 'till phase III to get a female solo film and a film with a black lead (excluding black supporting characters like Fury). Inhumans being so far along the line could mean either a long running arc for AoS or maybe just dropping Sky from AoS and picking her up in a film later. Captain America: Civil War sounds like a better title for Winter Soldier ATM. I still can't see how a Civil War scenario will work in the current MCU. They did mention that the hadn't confirmed Doctor Strange casting. DC seems to be massively lagging now. In addition It was initially seen as a good thing for DC that all its properties were owned by WB, making a shared universe doable, with Marvel split between 3 (or 4, who owns Namor again?). Then the decided that their TV properties were split between multiple channels (making crossovers bloody unlikely), rebooted Batman (their most successful films ever), and mentioned they were going to reboot the successful Arrow, if he ever made it to screen. Add this to making the entire DCCU follow the same dark, gloomy, depressing tone as MoS, and they really seem like they want to fail. Edited October 28, 2014 by Mr Man Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Ok, so we now know 4 of the infinity gems (or stones). Loki's staff has the soul gem, Tessaract is space, Aether is reality, and the Orb is power. Mind and time have yet to be found but with Captain America Civil War Doctor Strange Guardians of The Galaxy 2 Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther all coming out before Avengers Infinity (Obviously named after the stones and the gauntlet that hold them), which will have Thanos and I assume all of the stones, it is safe to assume we have enough time/movies to reveal them. Quote
Mr Man Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 ...Mind and time have yet to be found... As has 'soul', Lokis' staff is powered by the Tessaract not a separate gem. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Captain Marvel starring Carol Denvers? Best news all year! This whole list is full of amazing news. A bit funny to hear Black Panther was cast before Strange. I wonder if that means he'll show up in Age of Ultron? Quote
Steph 104th Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Well part of the film is in South Africa, so maybe he gets a cameo. Quote
Cyberstrike2000X Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 He's being introduced in Civil War. Quote
