-obelix- Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) "So we have no consensus on the letter, either on opening or taking it with us!? I do not think it is enchanted, but rather a military plans-document, some lord's or lady's love letter, or some such correspondence. I am skeptical about opening it, but if majority wishes to, we will do it. Please name your votes, mine is NO on opening and YES on taking it with us (No matter that it is technically stealing it...)." After a short pause, Thalion continued, "Please be quick about your decisions, I think we should hurry, explore the other paths in this maze and find our employer." Meanwhile, Thalion inspects the helmet and swords and tries to appraise them (determine the WP, SP or abilities). Edited December 17, 2012 by -obelix- Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Votes on taking the letter: Yea- 0|Nay- 1 The swords appear to not be finished made yet. They seem to be currently at WP: 1, but they seem weak, and could break easily. The helmet is fine quality, but is very large to fit anyone's head. /the helmet was useless, yet you feel you could somehow make the swords better. Off in the distance, you hear noise and large movement. And it is slowly getting closer. Quote
PsyKater Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 "Let's steal it and open it later. If the majority wants to read it, then do it. I will just take some steps back. Who knows what happens. I heard of people getting ill when opening letters. Then we should head back and take another path since hiding does not seem to make sense here. I am ready to go! Quote
herrJJ Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 "I think the dwarf is right. What a pity. We should open it later and get back on the path. I don't have any interest in heading into a fight." What is this with Amma, Nessa thought. Quote

Vash the Stampede Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) I can't say I want to stick around to see what is coming. As for the letter it has nothing to do with our mission I say we leave it. I'm assuming the letter will end up as a side quest. I vote we take it. Edited December 19, 2012 by Vash the Stampede Quote
PsyKater Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 "Can we go then?" Amma seems to be nervous. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 There seems to be different decisions of leaving or leaving with the letter. Party leader/-obelix-, you make the final decision. The approaching noise is closer. You don't have much time. Quote
-obelix- Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Thalion pockets the letter, and leads the party to the first crossroads, and takes the other path. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 You return to the beginning, and go the other direction. Vash the Stampede Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 We are going to Charis right? I'd have thought that the main road would go to a town. Not that I have come this way before. Quote

The party arrives in Charis, but are greeted only by a dirt track. How big is Charis? Supposedly we have been doing all this walking and we still haven't found it despite entering it. Quote
herrJJ Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 "Somewhere on the Fang Coast I believe. Hopefully near Charis." "Thank you, Master Dreyrugr." Something from the past came into Nessa's mind. 'Always watch your manners, Sweetie.' Her mother's voice was clearly in her head. But it was gone as fast as it has appeared. "We are on this track quite a time now and I haven't introduced myself to you. My name is Nessa Anárion." Nessa slightly bows to the pale man in her party, Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 QM Note: You are indeed in Charis. My apologies for not describing clearly in the beginning. You are trying to find the route to the main town. Also, the place you landed was abandoned if you wanted to know. Sorry. You turn right, but just reach a clearing/dead end. Quote
-obelix- Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 As they reach the dead end, the party turns to the previous crossroads and tries the other path. Quote

PsyKater Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 (edited) "I (would have) told you (if I would have been here) to walk straight.", grumbles Amma. Her mood got worse with every decision the party made. She did not even know where they were and she had lost orientation some time ago already. "Why are we creeping around these people anyway? Do we know that they will do us any harm? Or are we afraid? I thought we are Heroes? Do Heroes fear other people?", says Amma, maybe a little bit louder than expected. Amma follows Thalion to the other path. Straight. From the beginning. Or something. Amma frowns. Edited December 20, 2012 by PsyKater Quote
