Csacsa234 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Your review is excellent and it's really gives us all the little details. I was very happy when I saw that Lego makes a new A-wing beacuse In Hungary the prevoius one wasn'tt released(don't know why ). Anyhow I'm totally gonna buy this set and your review just review just made my point of view stonger Quote
Cornwaille Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I love the look of this model, I have to get one for my Starfighter fleet! :-) Quote
Fenaughty Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Excellent Review, loved the humour. I picked this set up today and also had misgivings about the stickers, but overall very pleased with the set, it's a really well constructed ship. Quote
Studebricker Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Good review for a first timer. I've never been a big fan of A-wings, and it doesn't help that Lego continues cranking out different iterations of it. I believe it and the snowspeeder to be the most duplicated ships thus far. Quote
Orange Leader Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Thanks for the review, shows alot. This comes in handy, since I still don't have an A-Wing. And I'm glad It's LEGO, so I don't have to build the flick fire missle. :) Quote
Dragonfire Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Cool set! However, I probably won't buy it- I'm not that big a fan of OT sets. Quote
miles teg Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Sorry to revive this! Ive recently purchased the A wing. I found it down from £25 to £20 (uk) so snapped it up. I love this little ship, nice and compact and clean looking. Love the colour scheme too. Few too many stickers but not realy a problem, although couldve done with at least a printed canopy. Love the minifigs! That a wing pilot! And Ackbar ! With two small children i cant realy justify buying the big sets, so never thought i would get my hands on the characters like Han or Ackbar but the A wing bought the goods home, yay ! All in all, a very good set i think. Quote
Laservampire Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Totally agree Miles! The A-Wing is my first "real" Lego set in about 15 years and the quality and accuracy of the model just blew me away. The landing gear clipping into place so tidily and becoming part of the hull just topped it off for me. Quote
DarthYannick Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I just got that model, for half price, brand new. Nice set. But did you notice that there is 2 kind of white bricks? After I built it, I notice a little variation in the white. One white look creamy, the other one bleach. I will take a picture this week end to show you that. It's weird. Quote
