Modulex Guy Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Thanks for the comments! How did you make those deep dish rims? They look great!! I used a brass rod is the exact diameter as a LEGO rim, cut to size, beveled edge, polished, painted and the rim is pressed in, and a tire stretched over it. what characters did you use for the number plate? The number plate on the red Porsche is just Sharpie on a 1x2 tile, made to look just like this: Quote
ER0L Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The shaping is gorgeous, and I love the low stance of it. Great job on this, keep it up! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 WOW this is awesome! The red wheels are amazing! Quote
danthaman11 Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Great work especially on the shaping. I like all the different colors especially the red version. Are you going to make the car in any other colors? I know those door parts are available in green, orange and blue. Quote
Chieffy765 Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 All the cars look great! How did you fit steering into a 5-wide car? Quote
Modulex Guy Posted December 24, 2012 Author Posted December 24, 2012 Are you going to make the car in any other colors? Maybe. All the cars look great! How did you fit steering into a 5-wide car? I used a various array of clips, none of these cars roll at all, static wheels, static positions. Quote
