CorneliusMurdock Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (McColt Encourage & Hoke attack again, OR Counterstrike time?) How about if McColt tries to encourage but if he isn't successful you attack the Mage instead? Friends need to finish this quickly before demon gets too powerful. Cronk will Heal Alexis from front row. If Alexis is already healed, Cronk will heal Gnash. Alexis, only attack Mephisto if healed! Hans will bash Mephisto from back row, giving up Encouraged after attack. Gnash will bash Magician from back row only if healed first. McColt try to Encourage Hoke. Order: McColt Hoke Hans Atramor Cronk Alexis Alexis Gnash Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Something was wrong, even in the darkness Skrall could feel power flowing at him as if he stood before a dam that had just burst. Silently he stood as wave after wave released itself into the world, "I take it that's a door." Quote
Zepher Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Vipera's voice whispers in their heads. <The spires in the sewers are closer to the buried temple. When these doors are opened, they scream in a way that the others do not. Nyx was near here, not too long ago, but her mind was muddled and I lost contact with her as she walked through the sewers. There is, as I've said, much noise in your city. I felt her presence until she arrived here with the man called XX, but now they are both gone. I do not know what happened to them, but even as you stand near the door, I hear much screaming, not their's, but much. CorneliusMurdock Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (Should we try to keep the mage alive? Seems odd she started the battle out Bleeding) Why? She doesn't have a soul or anything. Plus she drops loot. LOOT! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Why? She doesn't have a soul or anything. Plus she drops loot. LOOT! (Memphisto is down to under 300 health. I think we should hold off on the Magician. She may give up...) Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 What part of "LOOT!" don't you understand? I seriously doubt that a person without a soul is going to say "You know what? You got me. " You're counterstriking her this round, buddy. Take no prisoners. Quote

Zepher Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) OoC: IN CHARACTER!! Hoke stares into the Magician's eyes, trying to discern what is there, but they are as they were in the beginning of the battle- more dead than those of the Demon King's. He shudders a little. Whatever ritual she and Zane performed- it has left her without voice, without mind, without personality, and certainly without soul. Even as she stands waiting for the next series of attacks there is a stillness in her- she does not fidget or tend to her wounds- Edited February 6, 2013 by Zepher Quote

Being soulless and therefore not having free will is not same as being prejudiced against. In case of magician, lights are on but no being is home. It is foolish to expect surrender or quarter from such a being. Quote

CMP Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) Are you joking? You must be joking...well, I guess it could be worse, he's almost down. All black clouds have a gray lining or something or other. Atramor watches Hans nearly bisect Mephisto, evidently very impressed. "Now that, mate, was a damn good hit. I need to learn how to do that. Cronk, I think we should set up conditional actions to heal Alexis if she's injured. With all of this...I dunno, demon magic crap behind him, she's got the best chance of hittin' him. Hoke, you're a reasonable guy, so don't take it the wrong way when I say get off your megablocks and hit that damn zealot." The witch prepares his healing magic in the back row once again. If Alexis takes Damage, he will heal her. If Alexis is not injured, he will heal Gnash. "By the way, you're less Demonic than a Chaos Beast...hell, if anything, you look more like an Undead, my 'king'." Edited February 7, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Good work, Hans! Okay, friends, Mephisto will be hastened this round so Cronk will take free hit. Friends cannot let Mephisto survive to be encouraged round after. Alexis, bash Mephisto. Does Hoke feel comfortable bashing Mephisto as well? Lucky effect would end after hit. If not, try to finish off magician. Remember Magician is enemy. Hans will bash Mephisto from back row. Gnash will bash Magician from back row only if healed. McColt, try to encourage Alexis. Cronk will bash Magician from front row. Cronk will take brunt of Mephisto free hit but will counter much more effectively. If Mephisto is low enough on health, it might do trick. Order: Cronk Hans McColt Alexis Alexis Hoke Atramor Gnash Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Skrall shivered, these were matters that no bow or blade could solve. "Well sod it, look around chaps. If ya don't see any sign of 'em we'd best get back to headquarters and let 'em know that this door has been opened." Skrall tried to track down any more clues as to Nyx's whereabouts, if none could be found he made ready to lead the group back to headquarters. Quote
