Zepher Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 Hoke is immune to Fragile, he has the Lieutenant's Helmet. Skrall should have the option to Favor Beasts now, and he should be Encouraged, and Haldor Hastened. And just to make sure, Enraged takes place after a hero's targeted Vonnetate, right? So their attack could still potentially be from the back? So he is, it wasn't listed in his little *'d things, but you're right! That lucky duck. Skrall does have that option... I didn't know I had to list it, I figured he'd just declare it if he wanted it. Haldor is hatened, but I did forget to *ify that too. And yes, enraged takes place AFTER they attack, which is why Phil did attack from the back row this time! Quote
Pandora Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 ".... well, if we were going to have a bad round, I guess that was the time to have it. " Nyx prepares to repeat her attack, with the continuing caveat that she'd switch targets as before, depending on which enemy was still alive at the time. Quote
CMP Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 And yes, enraged takes place AFTER they attack, which is why Phil did attack from the back row this time! Thank you, by the way. Between this and Dastan, he owes us like 3 Phoenix Essences, I swear...he's a Dragon Knight, he should have a shield or something. "I think Skrall could keep Vonnetate busy while Hoke revives Gnash. What do ya' think?" Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) Hoke is immune to Fragile, he has the Lieutenant's Helmet. Huzzah! "Many thanks to you, sir," Hoke says to McColt. He stands up on shaky legs and steadies himself. Hoke rolls his neck and shoulders, bows and straightens his back and stretches his arms out past their natural reach. Each move produces loud pops and cracks. He lifts his visor, wipes the blood from his nose with the back of his gloved hand, winks at Vonnetate, and slowly closes the visor once more. Ruby, Vonnetate, Front Row. or Phoenix Essence, Gnash, Front Row. ? Edited February 19, 2013 by UsernameMDM Quote

Thothwick, please occupy one apprentice. The other will get free hit that Thothwick can absorb. Since Alexis is lucky, Alexis should target Masters. Cronk will take free hit from Zee. "A spellspin could bring him down, but will Gnash be able to help us after the battle is over if we don't revive him?" ([WP:15 x2 (ruby) + level: 20] x2 Encouragement = 100 damage per hit. A spellspin with 7 hits would take him down. It's a gamble. Only rolling a 5 would be detrimental to Hoke, but Gnash needs to be revived to fight later.) Edited February 19, 2013 by UsernameMDM Quote
The Legonater Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Let's pick up the poor kid. He's been knocked down so many times I'm surprised he's still coherent. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) Never having McColt break his cool, Haldor was slightly surprised, but eager to get the battle over and Vonnetate killed. "Doesn't look so good for you now, eh Vonnetate? If I didn't know you better, I'd say that you're running a little scared." The nord lets out a cold chuckle, and sets about weakening his long-time foe with the scrolls he had been lent. He prepares to cast the spell of armour sundering in quick succession with all of his four available turns. If he is successful with three of the spells, Haldor will attempt to make Vonnetate fragile with the fourth. Edited February 19, 2013 by Scorpiox Quote
CMP Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 You have four tries, Scorpiox. You get a scroll turn for each normal turn. "Aye, I'd like to have Gnash back. Seen enough people die today..." Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 "Very good, Mr. Cronk!" Thothwick changes his attack to Apprentice to the Court of Demons A, from the back room, with his Banana Sabre. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) You have four tries, Scorpiox. You get a scroll turn for each normal turn. I would make it conditional too. If you succeed on the first try, do something else with the other turns. "Aye, I'd like to have Gnash back. Seen enough people die today..." "As much as I agree with your sentiment, might we need to save or Phoenix Essence for the fights to come? We have no druid or life giving magic, and our collection of Phoenix Essence is low. Skrall, what do you say?" Edited February 19, 2013 by UsernameMDM Quote
