OoC: Everyone who ate a cookie, I advise you note it somewhere on your Hero Statistics Page, just so you know for the future where that extra stuff came from and you don't get it taken away by accident at some point. I find it easier, personally, but it's just a suggestion, and by no means required! For example, you in particular should include it Cronk, because +power is often times lost in the shuffle when I and others run critical hits, where it should be added into your level as far as calculations go, but without it noted anywhere we have no possible way of remembering...

The heroes step inside and are greeted by, as they expected, Wren.

"Hello, heroes," she says a little teary eyed. "I'm so glad you're here. I was worried you wouldn't make it. There's no one I'd rather to be here for my coronation. I'm a little teensy bit nervous, to be honest, I'm glad you're around."

Sphinx stands in the background, muttering, eyes downcast. In front of him is the Gray Wizard, or what remains of him. Darkness swirls where his body once was.

"Well, heroes. There's not much to do now, is there. I assume you're here to stop me from killing Zoot. We are at his alter, by the way." She jerks a thumb backwards. "A pretty good place to kill a God, right? His own alter. In his own temple. Some poetic justice! Ha!" She still appears nervous. There is her normal twinkle in her voice, but it wavers. She is sad.

"I'm not going to fight him face on, by the way. That's silly. All that Zoot will rise stuff... well, in that little statement, I'm Zoot. Zoot himself is just an old rag, or he will be shortly. See, Gods are notoriously hard to kill, because their immortal and have multiple personalities and bits and pieces. You've seen that. So I've come up with a little plan. I'm going to just swipe the rug out from under his feet. The Gray Wizard, it would have been better with Ella, but oh well, is going to channel Chaos itself. He's collecting it. Funneling it. From where, you ask? From EVERYWHERE!" Now Wren seems more excited. "It's all pouring into him. He will get it all. He's wearing the Amulet of Gods, you see. And Sphinx is channelling all this Chaos into him. And I've got this buu-tee-full Spitirus Intendere I picked up in Dastan. So I control it. I control it all. Do you see now how we can kill Zoot?! We just take all of his power, and store it where I have it. Pretty smart, right?!" Wren chuckles to herself and wipes away a tear from earlier.

Pretty smart, right?! :grin:

"And of all the places to start... Eubric is just teeming with the stuff! Well, shall we have our final battle, heroes? I think it's time. I'm ready to start feeding off the Chaos and sucking Zoot dry. Heroes, watch as I become a Queen and Goddess, and stop me if you can. I bid this world adieu as I am, but will return soon to view its beauty, its Chaos... forever. Or die."

Wren aims the Spiritus Intendere at the remains of The Gray Wizard, and it begins to drain something from him. Wren shudders and goes limp, though she remains standing. The Chaos and Chaos Beasts step up to protect her. Sphinx looks up from his muttering. He moves flawlessly, but his eyes stare into the heroes'.

"Kill us," he says. "The Gray Wizard and I. Spare us this misery, as we cannot spare ourselves."

Chaos growls at Sphinx and growls at the heroes and the battle is on.

I have already indicated what specials she'll have for round one, so I will warn you in advance each round. And yes, all those and the Magician as well. Please also note that Wren will gain her level/ether/health BEFORE each round, so she will be capable of dealing damage next round.

Does the same go for Chaos Beasts summoned by Chaos dealing free hits? Are they summoned at the start of each round?

Atramor strides towards Wren from the back row with the Explosive Staff in hand. His hat glows, granting him immunity to being burned. (Assuming I can't get immunity to all negative effects. :laugh:)

Should Hoke be Lucky & Blessed as well from Viper'a final blessing? Also, I think Hoke should only have 2 Phoenix Essence, 1 Remedy and a normal Zoot Cookie.

Hoke watched the whole macabre scene play out. The Gray Wizard's lifeless body swirled with misty black specters that consumed him. Hoke knew he didn't trust the Gray Wizard. Some power seemed to emanate from Sphinx, so he seemed like the best target to take out first.

Even though Chaos is blinded, he should still pretend to deal Cronk a free hit and be counterstruck. Not that it makes a huge difference.

Atramor, you're the only one here who can gain immunity to instant KO, thanks to my hat; you should target Wren.

Cronk is not sure hat works that way. Cronk was thinking party could easily absorb two free hits from Wren. Party can't damage Wren yet anyway.
