Even though Chaos is blinded, he should still pretend to deal Cronk a free hit and be counterstruck. Not that it makes a huge difference.

Cronk is not sure hat works that way. Cronk was thinking party could easily absorb two free hits from Wren. Party can't damage Wren yet anyway.

I have 2 defense, so I don't take any damage.

Atramor stumbles backwards from Wren's strike, but merely hisses, stealing her immunity to instant kill as he once more swings the Explosive Staff towards her side from the back row.

Actually Wren had the ability to ignore SP last round.

Atramor, please don't. Friends do not need to attack Wren this round. Focus on other foes!

Wren negates area of effect attacks this round so Cronk does not believe staff will work. Wren's free hits will not cause any damage, do not worry about it.

I will once more try to put Sphinx out of his misery with Darkness from the back row, but if Sphinx has fallen I will only fire Light magic on the Chaos Beast of Death if I have been healed. We all stand to lose a minimum of 3 health this round.
