Waterbrick Down Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 OoC: Not exactly sure why you rolled twice for Skrall, as he isn't Lucky, but I don't mind. Also, I noted Skrall's defense isn't taking his tricorne into account currently. BO looks good to me Pandora. "Careful Felton, stick with me but make sure to stay back. Hans, split off and take on that new beast of Death with Cronk from the front row." Skrall methodically reloaded and fired again at Chaos from the back row, he yearned to turn his aim upon Wren but he knew it would serve no purpose for the time being. His satisfaction would have to wait. Quote
Scorpiox Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Haldor rolls back from Sphinx's weak strikes, but decides it would be best to patch himself up before trying again. The nord heals himself quickly, and will then attack Sphinx again if he is successful the first time. Quote

CMP Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Meh, it's okay. It's not like we're not totally dominating the battle anyway. Atramor's dagger strike is interrupted by...something. His eyes flicker orange briefly, but nothing seems to happen. He steps backward, to spare a look at the dying Chaos. Sheathing Ratsbane, he walks straight up to the creature. It had the air of something...old. Beyond old. And somehow very powerful. He slid the Sword of Ancestral Hatred from within his cloak, and strode towards the creature in the front row. Whether he was the one to finish this abomination or not, it felt good to have the chance to finally remove the source of Wren's power from this world. Or maybe it was just the chance to prove that real faith in anything that didn't belong in the plane of mortals was utterly pointless. "Maybe Chaos' power isn't unfathomable as ya' thought, ya' crazy bitch." Quote
Flipz Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Arthur dives to put himself between Alexis and the enemies, as he uses his Healing Staff on her from the Back Row. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Now that Hoke is Hastened, he could would get 4 attacks with the Twin Broadswords as a melee weapon. Should he go in the order first, take on Chaos and select Diamond if a spellspin is rolled? Quote

Pandora Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 OoC: Provisional BO and actions posted, like before. Ammending by Corny and WBD welcome. Nyx nods solemnly at Sphinx as he falls. Annoyed by the CBoD's temerity to attack her, she punches it right back, with her Diamond in her hand, although she could have sworn she didn't mean to engage it in battle with so little health herself. "Ok, so Cronk's angel is here so if attacking from the front row increases your attack power, then please do so. I was waiting for an angel to appear to use the bombs, but I'm not sure how much use they'll be right now given we've killed nearly everything. I'll cast Light at Wren because she'll feel upset if she doesn't get a bit of attention (and she's Ancient now), but if she falls first then it's Light on anything left alive. Vipera, can you carry on trying to make me lucky please? McColt, please will you hasten Cronky? Waterbrick Down Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 OoC: Looks alright to me. Atramor was about to finish Chaos off, now might be his only chance. Well the thinking is if, I get a auto double attack on him, I would kill him with one hit, then attack the next one in line, then get another double attack because of Hasten 7 the Twin Broadswords. Flipz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Aw, come on, let Pie get the kill in, it's not like he's got much of a chance to do it otherwise... Oh, and @WBD, I'm not arguing in-character because my character made a promise to shut up about his beliefs. And he doesn't like Atramor. Actually, if it comes to it, I don't like Atramor, but I do like Pie, so... Arthur rolls his eyes. "Really, Dyric? Vonnetate was a monster, his actions earned him his fate. Wren is ruthless, but not unfeeling--a Hero, just fallen. What if it was my head you were talking about?" Arthur, remembering his promise, decides to stop there, lest Nyx or one of the Others actually start talking about taking his head as a trophy. Quote

Flipz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 "Evidently she didn't feel enough to keep what remained of her party from gettin' slaughtered or possessed..." Don't worry, I have the same thoughts about Arthur. "Oh, she felt it, I defy anyone who was with me in that Valley to deny that; she simply didn't let it stop her. She let her mission carry her past her emotions...like we have with every ally we have left behind. We are the same, only different. Wren is a mirror of our future, if we are not mindful of our present." And that is a mistake I cannot--will not--make. Arthur looks to Alexis for a moment before returning to the subject of Wren. "I'll also say this: Wren has fed the Master of Regret just as much as any of us, and more than some. Regret does not make one righteous...but it does make them redeemable. Like it or not, there is redeeming value to her villainy, just as there is in all of our mistakes. Is it likely she will redeem herself? Not in most eyes, not even through a noble death. But it is possible." "Lady Wren, have you any input to this discussion?" Quote
CMP Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 "A mirror of your future, maybe. Not ours, unless anyone else here really believes in the idea I'm about to decapitate. Don't forgot it's what led to her insanity." Quote
