UsernameMDM Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Spellspin should have done double damage since it's a melee attack and Twin Broadswords grants two attacks. I see you compensated back row and Encouraged. Hoke repeats his attack. Quote
CMP Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) I have Special Mirror and so should gain a level. Also, the Cat 'O' Nine Tails is still poisoned with Paralyzing Venom, so all the Chaos Beasts should be Paralyzed. You forgot to drain Wren's health by 100. Atramor attempts to patch up Nyx from the back row, while leeching off the Chaos Beast's strength to bolster his power much like it did. "Mates, the Chaos Beasts can't fight back, this might be a good time for some healin'." Edited March 12, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
Flipz Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Nyx visualises picking Arthur up by the throat, legs dangling, before throwing him into a corner, but knows that such an action would be counter-productive. Instead she takes a deep breath, and tries... to talk. "It might surprise you to know that I've listened to your ramblings. Maybe you are right and Wren is a true and beautiful goddess, but really, I doubt it. I only have to look at all the things she was willing to do in order to get to this point. All the lives she destroyed, whether those people be living or dead. Her past deeds are too awful to be balanced by anything she may do now. But you have faith in her beneficence? Enough faith to put it to the test? I firmly believe that Wren would claw at our backs if we merely decided to walk away and let her carry on. She will not let us live. But would she let you, a true follower live? Why not step up and take a free hit from her. Either she doesn't strike you and you protect those you care about (along with a number of the rest of us), or we're proved extremely right and don't have to listen to you going on about it all the time. Put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise, as Haldor said, shut up and/or bugger off." "Your proposal has great merit. I accept." In a mixture of defiance and faith, Arthur stands in the Front Row, shielding Alexis with his own body (doing Nothing). Just realized, we don't want to Jinx Alexis, in-character or out. CMP Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Atramor chuckles dryly. "Dyin' right in front of your lover. A good way to prove your faith. The Legonater Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I continue to watch the argument, torn apart - there is no defending Arthur, no way to try to put his actions in a better light. Loyalty gnawed at him for the strongest time since Duplovia. Beast F, back row, bow. Quote

Would you, then, have me betray those principles by attacking my best hope for achieving them? How would that be better than staying out of the way? CMP Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Isn't Skrall Lucky? And Felton definitely is now, you just haven't labelled him as so. And I hate, hate, hate, HATE to point this out, but as an Orderly Regulator, Hans gets Rally rather than Critical Hits, so he should cause regular level + WP damage (he deals light elemental which should null the fact that he's in the back row) and grumble Arthur should still be alive. Quote
Zepher Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Wren was lucky last round, so Skrall only gets one roll with her. Felton also rolled twice: Chaotic Critical Hit, and Damage. I'm sorry I don't strike through, but with so many lucky heroes... I do the rounds in the old editor like thingy, because the new editor sucks, so going back and crossing out after running a round for an hour is just a pain, but I can see how it would be easy to miss sometimes. Maybe Hans didn't allow his protection to extend to Arthur because he was so displeased with him. Quote
