Waterbrick Down Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Skrall shook his head annoyed as Nyx's book appeared in his hands. The ogre stored the tome in his satchel before knocking an arrow to his composite bow and firing from the back row at Wren. "Here we go boys, all at once now! Cronk, make sure Hans and Felton are leading the charge so as to do the most damage." Hans and Felton advanced on Wren from the front row. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 "Skrall, you're Favorin' Gods, aren't ya'?" UsernameMDM Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Can we just assume everyone is going to attack Wren and roll the round? I agree heartily. Beast P, back row, bow "Dyric! We have Cronk's angel! Target WREN!" Quote
The Legonater Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hearing Hoke's shouts and Skrall's orders, I grin. Wren, you're going to regret messing with us. If you survive, that is. Wren. Back row. Bow and arrow. To the temple. Not the knee. Quote

Skrall, I trust your advice, I will let you decide: if you wish me to attack, I will gladly cast a Light Spell at Wren from the Back Row, otherwise I will use my Healing Staff on the party member with the lowest Health, still from the Back Row." Realizing an opportunity to conserve his Ether, he swings Sir Roderick's Sword at Wren from the Front Row. Mallelio will cast darkness at Wren from back row if Poletad manages to roll a shield to restore friends' ether. Might I suggest Lightning instead so he can damage the Chaos Beasts if he rolls a SHIELD? Scorpiox Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Haldor wiped sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. It was all coming to an end now, Wren was backed into a corner, the heroes were protected by Cronk's angel, it was all over for her now. In the midst of the chaos, Haldor thought he could hear a voice in his ear, a woman's voice: "Go on now Haldor, do it for me, do it for us." "Arrggh! Your reign of terror is at an end, witch. There is nothing more to say, except that I wish it hadn't come to this; if only you'd stayed on our side, then maybe Bennetton, Triad and Bal might still be breathing. You dishonour them by keeping your life." The nord screamed an unearthly scream, before burying his weapon in Wren's weakened body. Lady Wren, front row. Quote

Pandora Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Nyx is confused a little as Skrall's heavy crossbow appears where her book should be, an event that might well have squished her if not for her barbaric blood. Instead she hefts it over her shoulder to sit against her back until she can return it. She reaches for her icy staff, cold as if possessed by the spirits of the dead, but reasonably stout enough to wallop with. [Gah and you posted the round!] Nyx holds Zee's Standard firm, and casts a Light spell at the Chaos Beast of Life B from the back row. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Guys - if we keep attacking the Chaos Beasts, it's not going to get Wren (unless, for some of us, we roll a Shield). Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a dedicated few attack Wren each round? Quote

Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a dedicated few attack Wren each round? I know, but Arthur doesn't do much damage anyway, and he can't take the hit. The only reason I'm not using the Healing Staff on Gnash is because I'm afraid of another weapon swap, and I REALLY want to Jinx Gnash next Round so that Nyx can pass Cronk her Healing Staff (hopefully on that same Round) and Cronk can get 4 rolls per action to get us a Guardian Angel. CMP Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 The Angel protects Thothwick from the damage from Burned, plus I think you forgot to give Poletad his health from healing. Also, I should gain two health from Ratsbane. Atramor's grin turned malicious as soon as his dagger landed in a gap between Wren's armor. He twisted the blade and pulled it free, following up with a short, vicious swing at the Chaos Beast of Death from the back row. Cronk already has a Healing Staff. Quote

I wasn't singling Arthur out. NO ONE in the party can really take a hit or really cause any really damage unless it's a crit, especially since Wren is has a 67% chance of being Encouraged each round. Most of use have at least 1/2 a chance to damage Wren. Quote

CorneliusMurdock Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Cronk assumes friend Skrall will be favoring Goddesses now. And this round Skrall is lucky even though Wren is not. Vipera, make Hans Lucky. This one could be important, friend Vipera. Alexis and Dyric can try to thin herd of Beasts. Here is dilemma, friends. Wren has free hit this round. Cronk could take it if Cronk were inspired but that is long shot. What do friends think? Quote
