Skrall smiled as the arrow finally hit its mark. Wren was true to her nature... chaotic, darting this way and that as she tried in vain to pierce the defenses of Cronk's guardian angel. It was true though, she had not quite ascended yet, even amid her seemingly random actions that devastated the party, fleeting bits and pieces of her mortality remained in contrast to the ancient evil that did her bidding. Skrall focused in on the blips and patterns that emerged, until the web of her intentions lay before his mind's eye. Knocking another arrow to his bow from the back row, the ogre slowly drew back and marked one of the intersections of the intricate web of the goddess Wren's madness.

"Haldor, what's that lamp thing of yours do?"

Hans and Felton, swords swinging, continued their back and forth assault on Wren from the back row.

McColt, try inspiring Cronk.

Cronk will heal self from back row twice. If Cronk succeeds first time, Cronk will heal Thothwick also from back row.

Poletad will heal friend with lowest health from back row.

Mallelio will also heal friend with lowest health from back row, provided Poletad rolls a shield to provide ether.

Gnash will bash Beast P from back row.

Haldor produces the Emeral lamp from his pack, and holds it at arm's length. The nord soon attempts to use it, hoping that any apparition summoned forth will attack Wren.

OoC: Generally effects like burned, poisoned and deadly poisoned continue to deal damage while Angel is up. I'm fairly sure. They can't be received, but they continue to function normally. Correct me if I'm wrong, Sandy.

OoC: I don't think Wren's specials have been updated for the next round. Also, Skrall is currently enraged which means that he would have taken more damage from Atramor's roll of special damage.

"I second the motion Felton," Skrall drew another arrow and fired again at Wren as Felton and Hans likewise advanced on her from the front row.

The Chaos Beast affected its own party, WBD, not ours.

"Someone needs to get Gnash up, too, and Skrall could use a Remedy," added Atramor, before turning his attention to Wren. She was in shambles. Her armor was disintegrating before their eyes, her blood thick and black. But she still stood - this had to end, and quick, if everyone was to survive. "Arthur, Cronk, ya' need to think about usin' your Healin' Staves on Mallelio. It'll double the chances of us gettin' a Guardian Angel."

Oh, I forgot. :blush: Yeah, but the wording of Special Mirror is 'causes the same effect to the opponent,' so I'm assuming that means another 20 damage for the enemy party. Unless, you know, Zepher wants half of us to die right here... :innocent::tongue:

Hoke notices his allies advance, but knows that any could fall from a mere touch of Wren's powerful attack. He grabs a Phoenix Essence from his pouch.

IF a PC party member is KO'd and Wren is defeated, Hoke will revive the first PC party member. If no PC party member is KO'd, then Hoke drinks a potion from the back row

Hate to see Wren get KO'd and someone miss out on exp!

Thothwick, following the lead of his allies, moves to the front row, to attack Wren with his Banana Sabre.

Noticing the devastating effect of Atramor's shield, Thothwick directs his temper at Wren. "Bloody Witches!"

The Chaos Beast affected its own party, WBD, not ours.

"Someone needs to get Gnash up, too, and Skrall could use a Remedy," added Atramor, before turning his attention to Wren. She was in shambles. Her armor was disintegrating before their eyes, her blood thick and black. But she still stood - this had to end, and quick, if everyone was to survive. "Arthur, Cronk, ya' need to think about usin' your Healin' Staves on Mallelio. It'll double the chances of us gettin' a Guardian Angel."

"Indeed. If Lady Nyx would pass her Healing Staff to Sir Cronk? As per usual, Sir Cronk, I will need to go before you if you wish to maximize your odds of summoning your Angel." Arthur uses his Healing Staff on Mallelio from the Back Row.

Cronk doesn't have a Healing Staff anymore. :wink:

The mirror should actually technically damage the party. When the enemy heals themselves, the party heals itself, so it stands to reason that when the enemies hurt themselves, so do the party. I will take SP into account, which I don't do for the enemies, but a number of you will still be KO'd, so please review your plan this round. Sorry, but that's the rules. :sceptic:

Haldor stumbled back, hit by the full force of Atramor's reflected blow. The nord spat blood.

"Well this bloody terrible. Jiin, you carry on as before, I reckon I'd better start getting some of our folks up and ready again. Cronk, I have here a pheonix esscence to be used on whoever you see fit."

Nyx stumbles slightly, hit by the force, and breathes heavily. She sees so many fall. Almost too many.

"Cronk, if we don't finish Wren this round, then we are in serious trouble. Even more serious trouble. If she's not defeated, I will still fall, no matter what happens. Every fibre of my being is screaming that we finish her. All or nothing. But I accept my blood is hot. I will do whatever you wish me to do."

Hoke rethinks his plan as he looks around and sees more of his party members down than he thought. Sensing that this could be it, and they were soon to be overwhelmed, Hoke charges ahead, sword held high, but stops himself at Alexis's body.

NO!!! Friends!

McColt, Encourage Alexis.

Even if friend Skrall gets another shield, Wren will still have 76 health left. That means other friends must hit Wren at least three times. Is it wise to go all out with those odds? Should Cronk heal or attack?

"Cronk, here's how I see it, we've got enough essences to revive at least 5 of us this round. You can heal Ms. Nyx with a health core to make sure she stays up. Those revived will make sure we survive the free hits. You can put Haldor's Jinn first, he'll have to take the free hit from Wren."
