That's a good looking ad. It would draw my attention

That was not really surprising due to the fact that most pirates like scantily dressed woman anyway. :snicker:

I once saw a advert for a Japanese dating website....enough said.

Arr, me hearty. Depending where you are, your locale may be more tolerant of scantily cladded women than other places. Now how well you can focus on the Lego instead of them?

I happened to PM Sinner about that very ad today. I know that EB is an 18+ site, but I don't need to see NSFW content next to The LEGO Movie news, you know?

It looks like a stolen image from Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball.... How dare they! :cry_sad:

I personally don't see it as offensive... but if you give me a target URL i can ban it. Images, while nice to look at, aren't much help for blocking.

Have people not got better things to worry about?

The ads on Eurobricks are fairly unobtrusive and (in my experience) are always related to things I've been searching or shopping for recently. And, even if they weren't appropriate then I would simply ignore them. Can't believe there's even been a discussion about this...

Cheers

Maybe someone has already fixed it. I'm not getting that ad anymore. But I'll let you know if it shows up again. Thanks! :classic:

Wow. That's nice artwork, I'm not sure if I can ban that....

Well, it's your site so you can do whatever you want to do. I just wanted to let you know about the problem.

Something may have changed. I don't see the pretty girls ads any more. Now it is showing ads for Walmart I never really paid attention to the ads before until this topic was brought up.

I haven't noticed again either.

These recent iOS game ads which force the App Store to open are pretty heinous.

Happens on sooooo many websites. It gets very frustrating.

I believe google uses your search history to determine the ads you see. I was perusing a local carpet company not long ago and now I see their ads on here all the time.

I think that is the case since I keep seeing ads for how to storage your lego.

There's a ton of spambots in the community forum.

I saw at one in the Licensed forum. And it had been making these topics all over EB. I googled it, and it had attacked forums all over the web. Scary stuff.
