Siegfried Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Well there's not much to it... ...and since it was never finished this is probably the best you'll get! Quote
Oky Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) I think it's gonna be almost as impossible to get an inventory of this set as getting instructions of it or the set itself. But if you just want to build it, I suggest you to look at the picture and try to built it from what you see. If it's true that the set was very badly designed, you might end up with something better if you MOC it. However, if you really want the exact inventory, you can only get it from someone who worked for Lego and/or has a prototype of it. There is someone on Brickset who claims to have the set. You could try to contact him somehow. He wont sell it to you, but maybe he'll be so nice to provide an inventory. Link EDIT: Oh, Sinner's pic is better for recreating it, but the one I posted shows the complete set. Edited February 3, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Courleciel Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Thanks for your answer. I'll try to contact him. Quote
Courleciel Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 (edited) Apparently he doesn't want to be contacted by brickset. So, I'm going to try to find an other solution ! Edited February 5, 2009 by Courleciel Quote
Courleciel Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Anybody has already try to build it ? I have contacted Lego, and they haven't any informations about this. Thanks. Quote
Courleciel Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Is the Minifig Torso of the Wrestler existed ? It's one of the parts the most hard to find. Quote
Bricks Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Is the Minifig Torso of the Wrestler existed ?It's one of the parts the most hard to find. I'm not sure, but I think NO. Because these scene is adapted from the first Spiderman movie. So if you want to use a similar torso, I would take the one from the Spidermanfigure! 'Bricks' Quote
Oky Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Anybody has already try to build it ? Nope. Cause it's a stupid set. Which is why I don't understand why you want it so badly. But whatever makes you happy, dude. Is the Minifig Torso of the Wrestler existed ?It's one of the parts the most hard to find. I'm not sure, but I don't think so. Therefore, it will probably impossible for you to get it. However, you could request a decal in the Minifig Customization forum. A yellow-skinned version of the Bane torso would work fine for this purpose, methinks. The Spiderman fig on the other hand does exist, as you might know. Quote

I'm interessted by this set because I try to have all Spider-man's sets. Quote
Dadster Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 (edited) Banes torso from the Bats sets looks as close as one might get - but then, you'll have to redo the other pieces in flesh-tone. Good Luck on your Holy Jail Quest! (alright - its not really a jail themed set, but wresting didn't match...) Edited February 19, 2009 by Dadster Quote
alexrider7 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 The Spiderman fig on the other hand does exist, as you might know. I beg to differ... brickset Quote
thefyfe Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I beg to differ... brickset but it does - youve just confirmed that... Quote
BrickBuilder3213 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I know this is a very ridiculous bump... But this set actually peaks my interest. I don't think Lego have ever released a wrestling-themed set, so if they remade and released this set, I'd be happy. And when I say remade, I mean bigger and better! ^o^ Quote
Rinzler Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 This set should have a normal release just like the others. My idea is to relaunch the classic (2002-2008) sets based on Batman and Spider-Man under a 'Super Heroes: Classics' subtheme Quote
KingPixels Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 But this set actually peaks my interest piques* Quote
Super Goblin Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 piques* Watch out guys we got the grammar police here. Do you really need to do this in every thread? Quote
KingPixels Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Watch out guys we got the grammar police here. Do you really need to do this in every thread? Not really grammar, it's just a really common error. It's a French expression that people for some reason assume is English. Like when people write 'per say' instead of 'per se'. Quote
Super Goblin Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I really don't care, it is annoying having you correct people all the time. Quote

Although we expect all members to pay attention to spelling, grammar and punctuation, please remember that not everyone is a native speaker of the English language. As of now, please stay on topic. Thank you. Quote

Godtshep Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I too wish for a remake of this set... Perhaps I could make a MOC. Does anyone know why this set was never released? Was the whole 'Cage match' theme seem a bit too dark for TLG? Quote
Kliq Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Nope. Cause it's a stupid set. Which is why I don't understand why you want it so badly. But whatever makes you happy, dude. Emphasis mine. Wow, really? I know that's a five year old comment, but sheesh. That said, I don't think this is a stupid set, in fact I would have liked to purchase one for myself if they were readily available. I would love a pro-wrestling theme. I've created a ring and wrestlers myself. It was fun to have ladders and breakaway tables. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 While the originally-planned set (1375 Wrestling Scene) wasn't released, they did wind up releasing a sort of "partial" version of the set as 10075 Spider-Man Action Pack. This was a set without minifigures, just some of the scenery and accessory-type items from 1375, designed to be used with the other two LEGO Studios Spider-Man sets from that year (1374 & 1375). Shop at Home sold the three together as a bundle (K1376) - I actually got this bundle myself, in one of my very first Shop at Home orders ever. At that time, 10075 was supposedly available only as part of the bundle (according to the catalog I placed my order from, back in the day), but according to Brickset they did start selling it individually later on, although the date they give for this (October 2002) is around the same time I ordered it as an exclusive item available only with the bundle. I didn't keep the box, but I do still have everything else, including the background card, which is exclusive to this set (you can see it in the background of the image in the second post in this thread, the one Oky made back on February 3rd of 2009). Here's a better look at it (both sides), from Peeron: IIRC, the 10075 instructions included a couple different builds, including instructions on using it with parts from 1374 and 1376 to represent different Spidey scenes. I'll have to dig out those old instructions again and take a look... Quote
LibraryBoy Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I like that solution for the turnbuckles and ring ropes! Maybe I'll revisit my own wrestling ring set-up with something like that in the future. Quote
