New trailer for Inside Out:

Looks a lot better than the first trailer, imo. Definitely interested in how it will turn out in the end.

Love it!

Looks like another Pixar masterpiece, but I don't like that Sadness is a chubby girl, but Joy is a skinny one.

Finally a trailer for the Good Dinosaur! It doesn't show much, but what we do see looks interesting. I'm still not as excited for this as I am for the Inside Out, but who knows, maybe it will be good. It still feels weird to me that we're getting two Pixar movies this year, though I'm not complaining. I just wonder how they're going to include the Pizza Planet truck in this one.

Wait, I thought they'd canceled Good Dinosaur? I had heard it got awful feedback, and from that D23 preview we got way back, I could see why...

Probably going to be the first Pixar movie I outright skip. Nothing about it really excites me or makes me want to take the time to go watch it--as a concept, it's nothing I haven't read plenty of books about, and as a film, the character voices I heard didn't appeal to me and the visuals didn't impress me. In all honesty, it feels more like a pre-Kung Fu Panda Dreamworks film, which is not a good thing in my book. :sceptic:

Just saw Inside Out, and it was brilliant!

The imagination of this movie was very well executed and I think it was overall just a beautiful film.

Also the short before the movie was just an amazing emotional rollercoaster :classic:

I love Inside Out as well, and yeah, that short needs more attention! So good and brilliantly animated. :classic:

I just saw it as well and I agree! Brilliant idea and brilliantly executed! The feels, oh the feels! Great humor, too, as expected. And the romantic short at the beginning fit very well with the movie. The film sets itself up for a sequel perfectly, which is not a bad thing, though I'm not sure I want them to do even more sequels.

The Good Dinosaur will have a very hard time living up to this one, although I'm still optimistic that it will at least be decent.

Our first look at Sanjay's Super Team, the short film that will accompany The Good Dinosaur. Honestly, the style looks kind of odd and not very Pixar in my opinion, but I'm still curious to see it.

New Trailer! Still doesn't tell us much about the actual plot of the film (or any dialogue for that matter), but it shows off the beautiful animation:

Now I'm much more interested in this film. The first teaser was meh.

So excited for Incredibles 2!

Also, Toy Story 4 is confirmed to be a love story between Woody and Bo Peep. Since it was implied that she was sold/given away in Toy Story 3, it seems that this might be a prequel. Either that, or they will reunite somehow.

Cars 3? Really?

My thoughts exactly. I enjoyed the first one, but they should've left it at that. :sceptic:

They also announced a Dia de los Muertos film called Coco from the Toy Story 3 team. I'm intrigued. :excited:

Cars 3 and the Incredibles 2! Sweet.

I hope we get some sets based of those movies.

Just when i thought we were back to doing original movies and not sequels, they announce that after the good dinosaur, the next 4 are sequels.

Finding Dory sounded amazing at D23 a few years back. I mean, Dory's family. Dory's. Family. That's gold right there, especially if they've managed to keep the cast they announced back then.

But yeah, the real hype here is CLEARLY Incredibles II.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised by Cars 3. We have known about that for a while now and considering how well the Cars toys are still selling, it was going to happen eventually. In fact, we have known about all of these movies for a while. The only new thing that they revealed was the title, logo, summary, and concept art for Coco. It's good to know that in between these four sequels we will get another original film (even though it still sounds like a ripoff of The Book of Life).

Honestly, I don't mind these sequels that much. Finding Dory has potential as Flipz pointed out. Toy Story has managed to top itself with each movie, so maybe they will do it again. Cars 3 is not very exciting, but I didn't think the first two were necessarily bad, so I don't think this one will either. And do I even need to mention the awesomeness of The Incredibles 2?

They confirmed that it is going to be a sequel, so I guess they will be reunited somehow. Besides, if it was a prequel, it would be a movie without Buzz Lightyear, and that just wouldn't be a Toy Story movie in my book.

I'd really enjoy if it was a flashback movie. Like, Jessie and Buzz are going through some kind of issues, so Woody tells them about his past with Bo Peep. That, to me, could be worth watching.

I guess my opinions on Pixar sequels are exactly opposite of the mainstream: I prefer Cars 2 over the original by a longshot, and the same goes for Monsters University. Conversely, I thought the Toy Story franchise peaked with TS2, and that TS3 would have been better served as a short film (i.e. the first and last five minutes, without the whole 'daycare mafia' distraction). I am interested to see how TS4 goes, though, especially if it follows Woody tracking down Bo Peep.

Finding Dory sounds like it should also be a long-form short film (i.e. 20 minutes), otherwise I'm afraid it will be too much filler.

As for Incredibles 2, I am excited but concerned. The original was a superhero movie when we didn't already have a glut of superhero movies. If they kind of toy with the genre like in the first one ("You sly dog, you got me monologuing!"), but dial that up a bit more, I think it could be excellent; otherwise I worry it will come off as average or derivative.
