Pet Shop is nice to me, because the 2 independent buildings allow you to create many different scenarios, you have 2 different appartements, and the colors are nice. Probably my second prefered modular after the Town Hall.

I agree. Pet Shop is one of the best modulars IMO, for those reasons.

Back on to Palace Cinema, I reckon it will be March 1st it comes out, like Town Hall. Hopefully this will be the case.

I think you'll find February 1st is a more realistic date if the company are choosing to announce the product this Friday. We haven't heard anything at our store, but as a gauge the Horizon Express arrived the day before Christmas Eve and that was released New Years day...

I'll let you know when stock comes in.

I checked Brickset and Lego officially announced the Town Hall last year on February 16, and it was released two weeks later on March 1.

If that pattern holds, an announcement this Friday likely does mean a February 1st release for this... let's hope so!

That is such a disappointment and the downfall of the series. The series was always sticker-less. Why????

Bit extreme don't you think?? I'll certainly be picking one up.

im curious to see if we get stung with the standard AUD$300 in Australia.

if the set is USD$150, typical lego markup would probably make it AUD$250 down here... mind you, with our currency we could buy it in the US for about USD$145...

will be watching closely. if the rip-off occurs, it will be my first Modular set bought online

this set looks a bit too big to sell because the box will probably not fit on the store shelves at all and this set will not sell at all because of the new popular Legends of Chima theme.

P.S. I am a Chima fan

Don't worry. This set will sell all right. There are plenty fans of the Modular series

That is good to know the final numbers. I had a long spiel of how I was upset it was so small for that price tag, but when looking at brickset on the previous modulars it is actually about the same size, so I'm not as upset now. I knew the Pet Shop was smaller, but I thought this was smaller than that. I thought wrong.

Otherwise, the set itself looks great and I can't wait to pick one up.

It's a D2C set, so it will probably only be sold through LEGO Brand Stores/S@H.

EDIT: Ah yea, I'm a duke now!
