Posted December 29, 201212 yr Hi, everyone! I'm glad to present you my new MOC - "Duel Of The Fates". The name came from the soundtrack of the movie. I recomend you to watch this scence to know what is my MOC about(try to watch with 720p or 1080p ). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzQBB4YICwM The sences, wich I show in my work, start at 2:00. Main views: The entrance to the hall: Black hall is modular part. Because of the grooves, red interceptings easily inserted between the walls of the corridor. When red barriers are deactivated, grey pillars are extended. The droid's rooms are gifts of my imagination! Don't be so serious! In the right we can seee the passage with the reactor pit. And this hints, that the pit's very long! And the story! You know it! [/url] [/i] The original photos are also in the spoiler: Reveal hidden contents Bonus! Thanks for watching!
December 29, 201212 yr Very very nice... And i say this as someone who really doesn't care much for the prequel trilogy!!! Good job
December 29, 201212 yr Great job on this Mace! I like how it all fits together, the nice details with the greebles, computers, and dish elements, and of course my favorite aspects are the corridor with the shields and the round shaft. Nice production too!
December 29, 201212 yr That was awesome, one of my favourite movie sequences ever, recreated in LEGO! :)
December 30, 201212 yr This is one of the most beautiful sequences of the movie You have realized the whole scene in a wonderful way with a stunning scenery ... I will add this topic to my favorites! Thanks for sharing so many pictures of this amazing work!
December 30, 201212 yr Great recreation, the walls of the pit are very well done. As are the energy barriers.
December 30, 201212 yr I listened to the music "Duel of the Fates" at the same time I read this, and the minifigure posing and the larger build definitely hold the same emotional power that the original scene had. The only concern I have is that the wall at the back of the energy barrier hallway perhaps makes it too dark to see the bright red barriers as they are in the film. That said, I really like the choice of the ridged 1x2 bricks that give the hole through the floor a certain industrial texture that would otherwise be lacking. Great build, MaceWindu!
January 1, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the replies! I understand, that I made a mistake with the walls only in the end, sorry...
January 6, 201312 yr What a perfect work! The whole scene is magnificent and you did not hesitate with the use of so many bricks! Darth Maul is one of my favorite villains, and this tribute to the duel of the fates is gorgeous! :wub_drool:
