sama Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I don't know if there is already a thread for this stuff but we can put in all our info about the second half of the 2013 Technic sets. here is a picture to get you guys started. http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/2125/img0346rp.jpg There is going to be a mega mobile crane (5 axles!), and 9397 scaled pneumatic tow truck, and some small sets that I do not know about. sama Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Wow, fail. Someone should remove this thread then. Admin? Quote
davidmull Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Sure let it run,we have a 2h tread every year? Quote
z3_2drive Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 the other was 'information only' not 'discussion', so yeah, keep it! Quote
davidmull Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I can't wait for the tow truck,I love pneumatic sets :) I wonder will they use the older or newer style pump? Quote
jorgeopesi Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I think the green truck will be small... Quote
TimH Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I'm liking the looks of the tow truck and crane. thanks for posting the link sama. Quote
z3_2drive Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 does the monster truck have any functions like suspension/possible winch?? and what is the relative size? Quote
paulrobinson Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Any idea if the crane is the flagship? Quote
Hopey Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Any idea if the crane is the flagship? One would have to assume so; the box is the same size as 8110 and 8043 (and presumably 9398, although I haven't got one of those). Quote
paulrobinson Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 P.S. thanks to @sama for posting these. Also, @sama do you have a higher resolution version of the above image? It would be good to figure out what PF and other functions we get. No problem if you don't, no complaints here!! Thanks again, Paul. Quote
Hopey Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 file:///C:/Users/Matt/Pictures/TS20132H.jpg Matt, we can't access your hard drive directly . Maybe you could upload the image to brickshelf, flickr, etc? Quote

pint14 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 If you zoom in you can see bb and l-motor and some yellow thing. Quote
davidmull Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I think the yellow thing is just the outrigger , Quote
andythenorth Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Green truck might not be 8285 sized, but more 8109 sized. The grille is 6 studs wide; the overall width by my count is 11 or 13 studs. 8285 is around 15-17 studs wide. Also fits with the smaller box size. Compact models are nice. I think it's a single rear boom (integrated hook and rear lift). Hard to tell though from zoomed in pixels Quote

z3_2drive Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I was also reminded of the 8465 extreme offroader upon seeing this year's. 8465: Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) I was also reminded of the 8465 extreme offroader upon seeing this year's. 8465: What's that got to do with the price of cheese? The only thing that's the same is that it's been called a off-road. Edited December 30, 2012 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
