The moment I heard the Lego Universe Front End music, I knew that this was going to be good. Far more excited with this than I ever was with Chima. Speaking of Lego Universe that three headed "Fluffy" looked like it was Malestrom infected .

I cannot wait for more information, and more videos.

The developers said that a minifigure series is being made to launch with the game, and it will feature characters specifically designed for the game. Who wants to bet that some of the new enemies and minifigures seen in the trailer are gonna be in this series?

I'm sure we'll get those Orcs, and it will probably be Series 13 as May seems like a plausible release date.

That soft grouping would have completely revolutionized LU. Glad to see they're learning! Here's hoping they also learned their lesson about lack of transparency, and about letting internal politics affect the user experience.

Really, the art style reminds me a lot of LU in some ways--but I want to know what they're doing with story. Story was one of the things they got right with LU--I'd hate to see that go.

It almost seems as though they are taking a step back from Lego Universe. I for one enjoyed being able to customize a minifig, and to have my own little area to build things, also I am not really sure if the older audiences will enjoy the click to move feature.

Point and click is fine.

It seems like they nerfed the features in Lego Universe which was already a game with barely any content. Also it seems like they somehow made it even MORE kiddie which I wouldn't have thought would be possible.

I'm sure the moderation levels are near Nazi-mod levels too like in Universe so you can't have a decent conversation "to protect children".

I don't know, I don't see anything that'll make this not end up like Lego Universe and die. It doesn't look hugely impressive. I'm not sure AFOL will often go for it when there's many non-Lego games of a similar style that are 10x superior, 10x less kiddie and 10x less easy (well, tough to say this for sure but it IS a Lego game :P). Diablo and that new Marvel game and tons of other options...

Maybe if it has a good business built around it. F2P. Annoying microtransactions...

It's not aimed at AFOLs, so its success won't hinge on whether AFOLs are interested in playing. But at the same time, I am sure at least SOME AFOLs will be willing to put up with kid-friendly "sacrifices" and find redeeming value in other parts of the experience. After all, the majority of LEGO sets aren't aimed at AFOLs either, and plenty of AFOLs still manage to enjoy them just fine.

I won't be playing this game just because I've never had the work ethic or attention span for MMOs... in fact, these days, I barely have the work ethic and attention span for video games of any kind. The last video game that I had the patience to play all the way through was the wonderful nostalgia trip that was the Mata Nui Online Game.
