Kez Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 My entry should be finished today and hopefully uploaded later Quote

KingXeo Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Is Castle considered Sci-Fi? Or pirates? Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Is Castle considered Sci-Fi? Or pirates? By itself, NO. But if it's an Animal manned Castle, or an Animal crewed pirate ship, I would say yes - it's Sci-Fi - it's an alternate planet/universe Quote
dr_spock Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Where are the entries? Looks for posts/threads that begin with "FAPC:" Quote
Kez Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Hallelujah it's snowing and works been closed so that means I can hopefully update my FAPC entry today. Quote
Relatively Sane Studios Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Sorry to be such a noob but where and how do we post our entries, I'm new to eaurobricks Also could I have a robot sort of thing with an animal head? Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Sorry to be such a noob but where and how do we post our entries, I'm new to eaurobricks Also could I have a robot sort of thing with an animal head? Welcome to EB! Everyone was a noob at some point, so don't be sorry! You need to post a NEW thread for your entry - so go to the main Sci-Fi forum and on the right clikc the little "Start a new topic" button. From there just write out your entry, include your pictures (let me know if you need help with that) and hit Post and you're done! As for the animal head -yes, but you have to use the WHOLE animal, so the rest of the animal body has to be inside the robot. So you can't use the easy way of just using JUST an animal head and stick it on a robot thingy Quote
Debricker Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 it would be great if somebody did a micro scale version of dead space for this contest! (for those who don't know, dead space is a video game) Quote
bloei Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Great contest, I am going to join this one! Quote

Steebles1908 Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) Entry submitted! So excited! Edited January 25, 2013 by Steebles1908 Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 Really great entries everyone! It's going to be a tough vote! Dumb question- who votes? EVERYONE! All members of Eurobricks can vote (who were members before Jan 1st, or have entered in the contest - this prevents people getting friends to sign up to vote just to for them). Great contest, I am going to join this one! Looking forward to it! Quote
Pumpkin Pie Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I unfortunately don't know how to upload picture from photbucket because when I do it it just gets one of those little blue question mark boxes. Are we allowed to just post a link to the photos or do we have to actually put the picture here. Quote

But if you post the link I can try to help figure how to post the image. Or you could sign up for flickr, it has a button that lets you easily paste what you need Quote
Joff_Draeven Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Quick question, does scale matter for this contest, in that if you use an animal (say a scorpion, mouse/rat, or spider) do you have to imply that the machine they are driving is a minifigure scale. I don't want to give too much away, but invasions of giant things is sort of my microscale idea, would that be permissable? Quote

Kez Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) @Si-MOCs I think I have a final question, if I have enough time today would I be allowed to add a stop motion animation movie of my FAPC MOC to my entry? Thanks (Not that my entry will even come close to winning, but I must say I did enjoy building it, thanks for the competition) EDIT:No matter, I won't have enough time to make one, all entry's are looking great and best of luck to all contestants. Thanks, I sadly can't improve it even more because the weekends nearly over but if I have more time I'll try to, I've also improved the baseplate to my entry like you suggested to (its a bit better than the dull one IMO ) Edit:all entry's are looking great, it'll be tough to judge Edited February 1, 2013 by Kez Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Seriously there are so many great entries... It will be very hard to choose on of them... Quote
