This contest? (Doesn't have to be a MOC btw, just a SciFied avatar image) You post the image in this thread, and make it your avatar until the end of the month. That is all.

Which reminds me, I still haven't entered yet.

Really great entries everyone!

Keep it up!

Oh sorry I must have missed it... For the Sci-Fi avatar contest - simply post in in this thread (which you have already done).

For the other two contests you need to post in your own thread with either MSFC or FAPC prefix.

No problem.

Ah, ok thanks! :)

Okay hello folks,

I am a bit late in the contest but there enought plenty of time to MOC, so I'll present you my entry.

And after, presenting you, The space Architect!

The future is now! In some years, every single architect will be able to create and build their projects on the brand new 3D holographic table called HAM (Holographic Architecture Modeling). You will simple have to use the laser gun and wear the protecting helmet to guide you in your movements. The HAM table is a totally reflective surface, once you have design what you want it is automaticaly saved in the HAM memory, birng it with you and show your clients!

I put a light under tha table!

Hope you like it!

Harton

Here we go. Ps'd green spaceman. (As per usual!)

Unfortunately my previous avatar was a very-close-up picture so I've decided to make a whole body photo this time for wider possibilities for the next avatar contests ;)

Edit: replaced the photo for better posing and quality.

My question remains unanswered, so I ask again:

I made a new avatar to be my "base" (you did say we could do that, right?)

I'm having trouble uploading it to eurobricks. It's on flickr, but that's all. How do I transfer a flickr photo to here?

Sorry, you probably missed the answer since i commented it on it when I edited the post, (to put in your avatar.)

But to elaborate, the easiest way to put it on eurobricks is to hit the "share" button in Flickr, and there should be "Grab HTML/BBC" code make sure it's set on BBC and just copy all that code and paste it in.

The instructions for changing your avatar photo are in the Visual User Guide, but to summarize it for you:

  1. Rightclick on the image in your post and select "copy image location"
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. Click "Change Photo" which will be a button that is over your current avatar on your profile page
  4. Paste the image URL into the appropriate field in the popup window
  5. Click done.

:classic:

Finally got around to changing it:

Still a captain of the Watch but now with old scool lasergun.

Can my entry be my first sigfig?

Then what do I do with the BBCode?

Then what do I do with the BBCode?

Simply copy it into your post.

BBcode refers to the mark up code you see when you switch the editing mode with the top-left button in the toolbar of the reply box.

I have a Jetpack and golden laser gun! :excited:
