March 3, 201311 yr Hi DanSto, Thanks for a great model of R2-D2 Downloaded your very good instructions from Rebrickable and built this little beauty today. It will be displayed on my office desk tomorrow. Really appreciate that you made the instructions available, that is very generous, and will not share without your consent as requested. Once again, thanks very much.
March 4, 201311 yr DanSto, that was really nice of you, thanks! Would anyone have an actual pic of DanSto's model next to the UCS version?

April 23, 201311 yr Author Hello, The most simple way is to get to the rebrickable website where you can get the inventory and the building instructions : http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/r2-d2-mid-size http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/stand-for-r2-d2-mid-size http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/accessories-for-the-mid-size-r2-d2 Good building, Dan

July 8, 201410 yr I've just joined EuroBricks and you're my first thing that I'm going to make. This isn't for me, it's actually for my 7 year-old brother's B-day. He is very advanced for his age, he built the 9-14 Cars 2 set in about 1 1/2 hours. Do you think he'll be able to build it. (I'm going to print the instructions.) Edited July 8, 201410 yr by SKA124
July 8, 201410 yr Author Hello, I think so : the most difficult step of the building is putting the 8x8 gray disk on top of the fragile body. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
