gratefulnat Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Hi DanSto, Thanks for a great model of R2-D2 Downloaded your very good instructions from Rebrickable and built this little beauty today. It will be displayed on my office desk tomorrow. Really appreciate that you made the instructions available, that is very generous, and will not share without your consent as requested. Once again, thanks very much. Quote
Werlu Ulcur Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 DanSto, that was really nice of you, thanks! Would anyone have an actual pic of DanSto's model next to the UCS version? Quote
tedbeard Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Thanks for sharing this. I look forward to building one. Quote
vriverajr3 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Awesome pic. I can't wait until I have enough parts to make the mid sized one. Quote

DanSto Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Hello, The most simple way is to get to the rebrickable website where you can get the inventory and the building instructions : http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/r2-d2-mid-size http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/stand-for-r2-d2-mid-size http://rebrickable.com/mocs/DanSto/accessories-for-the-mid-size-r2-d2 Good building, Dan Quote
DanSto Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Another variation of this model : the Maya bee one by Kazumi and Omar Ovalle Quote
SKA124 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) I've just joined EuroBricks and you're my first thing that I'm going to make. This isn't for me, it's actually for my 7 year-old brother's B-day. He is very advanced for his age, he built the 9-14 Cars 2 set in about 1 1/2 hours. Do you think he'll be able to build it. (I'm going to print the instructions.) Edited July 8, 2014 by SKA124 Quote
DanSto Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 Hello, I think so : the most difficult step of the building is putting the 8x8 gray disk on top of the fragile body. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. Quote
