oo7 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 But seriously, I don't really have a large quantity of a certain fig body to make an army. I find fig armies a bit overrated, and would rather have an army of vehicles. Agreed. I don't see what presenting an army shows besides the fact that you have spent alot of money on ABS plastic toys. An army of vehicals shows you have put much more thought, effort and creativity into your masterpeice; and that's what LEGO is all about. ;-) I too do not have a surplus of any minifig part except the Alpha team torsos. I have so many that probably aren't to abundant but it just seems that way because I never use them. |-/ Although I do have a town army (:-P) I can post here if anyone is interested......... Last I checked medieval armies never fought tanks :-P You are indded, correct, but in fact they did fight something similar but much, much worse. These fearsome war machines when by the dreaded name of Trojan Rabits. ;-) Quote
Scouty Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 NOT MINE...I'll show mine sometime...later. But here is one worth the view. Quote

I certainly don't think I've ever built anything that wonderful. My real advantage as a builder has not been talent; but rather an unusually large supply of old grey bricks (not that I can complain about that :-D ). Personally, army building doesn't interest me in the slightest, but I do see why some fans might regard it as being impressive. Quote

First of all because I don't care about war (it's violent and it destroys people). and secondly because the minifigs don't lend themselves for a natural looking medieval army. The minifigs are way to uniform, and medieval armies weren't. Quote
KimT Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Here's a pic of an "army" which has been used several times the past few days here in Copenhagen: And one of the "goodie" castle theme army: and one of the not so good: bring the pain: KimT Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I must have missed this post, but here's a few from my collection: I've got a lot of the old classic horses but I just don't like to build them (not sure why, but this is why the knights are pictured on foot). Quote
