As I haven't used wheel arches it does look higher. The rear is the standard height while the front is raised one plate (good spotting). The cabinets are standard height as other sets including 3179 repair truck http://www.brickset....ail/?Set=3179-1

Also if you think that is high you should see the nsw RFS tankers. They are huge but are baed on the same truck chassis.

I haven't made any changes yet.....

Great work you'r doing, living in Melbourne i have been keeping up with the fire situation, it's good to see homage paid to people who lay it all down to help.

Plenty of forest firemen available on Bricklink :)

Or you could buy one or more of the forest fire sets still in stores :)

I could buy some fire atv's at 8 bucks a pop....only need three.....I guess I could custom some atv for sale at the Holden dealer along with those dirt bikes eh ? :wink:
