jonfett Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Hmm.. I couldn't seem to find the thread in which we were discussing the legend set so i started a new one. Well, here it is - http://news.lugnet.com/lego/announce/?n=57. It was posted on FBTB yesterday. From what I have read this has come as quite a shock to most people. The set, Model Team Hot Rod, was released only 9 years ago in 1995. I would have thought that a set from the 80's or earlier in the 90's would have been chosen. Oh well, at least we know now. But since I have it and I don't have this legendary hot rod, it's an occasion to complete my model team collection. I definitly don't know how such a set could have beeen released as a legend. Scouttrooper007 Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 I have to agree with Jipay. I would have thought the van, semi with heli or the semi with the plane (Mach 1 I think) would go over better.
