Not only that it has the same seats, its also very very similar to original. Ok, It is nice, but I got a feeling that we lost good oportunity to make a really special model and even worse, It seems that it was because of one nations afols against "bad" western europe.

I mean, c'mon, its another pickup with two seat cabin, cargo box in the back, top lights and supporting structure. Nothing new here except boxy structure.

I'm pretty sure that TLG will be happy though. Its the most simple model with least parts.

Yes, this model has the same seats and side mirrors. it also was built the same scale. May be it looks like original, but its body was built from the SCRATCH.

No, it no a pickup, but at first I want to build something like Chevrolet El Camino.

Everyone who owns 9398 and who have tried to make something other than 9398 on chassis will understand me. It is hard to build something bigger on that chassis. Posts about that "we lost possibility to have something different (big?)" - for me sound like empty words of 8 years old boy, sorry. Or may be it is just a dreams to receive set with 2 times more details than original 9398 but the same price?! Tell me truth, you dreamed?

I am 99% sure that we have no chance to receive after optimizing something big and heavy even if it is a limited edition set. Lego will not produce set, that is worse than original 9398 by design and by performance. The only way to make crawler succesful on crawling and stability - is to built it similar to original - low body with about the same count of details. So, do I have to built lambo or ferrari crawler? No. There is not much variants to built. Yes I can built station wagon body, but it will be heavy. Ask efferman - he goes the same way. First - big "unlimited class" van, and then lite and low Snake.

Anyways, thank you for support. I believe that TLG will make my entry better;)

Congrats to rm8 for wining the competition but I have to say that for me it seems I'm not buying The Boss and saving my money for some more exciting TLG sets of 2013: 42009 crane, service truck, f1 car, new mindstorms, excavator? The Boss seems no different for me from the original 9398 (plus the parts and colour selection don't impress me very much). I think Lego should wonder about working out a better formula of such competitions for the future to avoid situations that people from one country, within one community vote on their fellow, countryman, so to avoid better promotion, marketing to be the decisive factor instead of model's global appreciation. Maybe it should have been like that people vote to qualify 3 models to the final where TLG specialists would have made their choice of the winner. Anyway I am looking forward to Crazy1993 instructions of his Enforcer to try and build this beauty, modify it a little and let it finally see the daylight and move.

Aha and here I have a suggestion for TLG for the future: dark gray rims for the biggest Lego Technic wheels are highly appreciated :)

Yes, I can agree with you about rules and that there are many interesting sets to buy this year, so buying second crawler is not priority.

I don think you do critisize:) I mean that colors and parts availability - is not the reason why Lego happy to produce my model. I still hope they select another color than black.:)

Some more information about seats: 9398 seats is not only decoration - it is very functional detail - it holds the roof. Crawler's roof have to be very strong- because model tends to roll on the roof on obstacles. Thats why they are vertical. Making of beautiful but non functional seats and roof holders - increases model weight. I understand that, thats why I also make seats as a functional element of model. They hold the roof.:)
