Hello all,

I have just completed my first MOCs. I really like to use different colors. All the parts in the MOCs are readily available in the colors used.

The first one is called Brickstreet and exists out of five buildings. Four of the buildings are 8 studs wide and one of the buildings is only 6 studs wide.

The next building is an orange modular building, using manly orange and dark orange.

That was it for now. Soon new buildings.

Take care!

These look great. I particularly like the colour combinations in the first set of building, as well as the brick built doors. The trashcans are a nice touch too, and add to the realism of the buildings.

The larger stand alone building has a very grand look about it. The tan and dark red trim between the first and second floors is awesome. May I borrow that one day?

I think the front door of the second building lacks a bit a "grandness" compared to the rest of the building. Maybe solid brick built doors would work better?

That's fantastic. I like the lamp posts the most. Were they designes in LDD? Because I can't find a proper orange in the software, the one you used in the right building on the 1st picture. It looks it is different from the orange on the 2nd picture.

Welcome to Eurobricks! And what a nice way to make an entry. These MOCs are both lovely, with so many great details. I obviously love your colour choices, and the black iron railing and the diagonal bars on the windows above the entrance door on the orange building are superb additions. The brick-built doors are very nice, too, and the architecture looks realistic - as far as I can tell, it could be lifted from any old Dutch town.

The second building is also great - again, lovely colour choices. I'd love to see these built for real. Please? :)

Thank you all for your input! Really appreciate it.

@Kristel: sure you can borrow it

@Yooha: This was made in MLCad. The colors of the buildings in the first picture are (from left to right): Sand Green, Tan, Sand Red, Dark Orange and Medium Dark Flesh. These are the color names, as they are called in MLCad and on bricklink.

You did a superb job on color choice. Your models are really, really good. At first I thought the first MOC represents Mini Modulars.

What color did you use in the center building of your first moc? Just seen your answer. And would you share your files?

Welcome to Eurobricks 2013-lego! It seems like Brickshelf isn't working at all, so I'll have to wait to see the pictures.I am looking forward to see them!

You have skill! The design of the narrow houses is wonderfull, their facades are interestingly detailed, and are full of different styes, yet they fit nice together. Also, the snoted doors on the buildings look fantastic.

The dark orange building is much larger than the street layout, but it fits in with them great. You have developed an interesting style of building and I'd love to see more modular buildings from you. Keep it up!

Welcome lego-2013. They are great buildings you have made there. I realy like the one in picture 2. The dark red trim realy stands out and the designs reminds me of Austrian buildings.

It was definitely worth the wait, I espacially love the second building. It resembles some buildings I liked to build myself, but are ofcourse, a bit too large for my layout. There are some interesting building techniques you've used, well done.

I'm with everyone else. I love these MOCs. They are beautiful and blend well together. You did a great job with 8 wide buildings. My concern, I'd love to see them in 16 wide. I may have to "borrow" some of these ideas and start building my own 16 wide versions. I just built the Pet Shop and fell in love with the smaller scale modulars, but I fear 8 wide may be too small for my liking. However, you've done an amazing job with these. The brick-built doors are neat and I love the window detailing.

Keep up the amazing work. I will definitely check back on this post for inspiration.
