Triple Review Special: 60002 - Fire Truck

Thank you for the nice review, KielDaMan.

My only complaint about the build is the somewhat repetitive process / symmetry of the front and back of the truck. Once I got over that, the truck grew on me. It's a great addition to the LEGO CITY fire department!

I should also add the past two years are great years for fire trucks at the $19.99 price point. Both 4208 Fire Truck and 60002 Fire Truck are great sets

I don't think this fire truck is meant to look like any specific real-world fire truck, it probably includes design elements from any number of real world (especially European) fire trucks.

I don't think the specialized ladder part makes this set "junior"ish at all, because that's the sort of thing that just can't be properly built out of bricks at that scale, particularly given the un-brick-or-anything-else-friendly existing ladder mold. Even trying to do it with piping and arms or something like that would probably look pretty terrible at Great Vehicles scale.
