Samanen! DAMN YOU!!!

I just came back from Town with 8109 and 42006.... I was not supposed to like heavy machinery! NO!!!!

Hahaha, can't stop laughing at this post . Look at it from the bright side. You got a lot of parts and panels for future MOCs of things you like

They work basically the same but those were the 4L U joints, the new parts are CV joints. CV Joints should perform better than U joints like the real world counterparts.

ok,appologies, my mistake, i was looking at the wrong part and assumed that was the part you were refering to.

No :(. Dont know if i will get it any soon. Looks like prices going up on it now. I spent a fortune already and i will hold off on buying any more of technic sets. I think I got enough sets/parts to start some of my own stuff!

Bought today 42006 & 42004 at a local department store (Manor). I was surprised that the price is not much different from the US.

the 42006 costs me CHF79.90 (US$86.20 or EUR64.00). I was expecting around CHF100 for this set alone.

For the 42004, I paid CHF26.90 (US$29.03 or EUR21.56). The Lego Swiss S@H is not yet selling these sets.

Though Swiss S@H is selling the Unimog for CHF259.00 (US$279 or EUR208) which I find absurd . Manor is selling the same set for CHF249 or EUR200. I also found out that a different toy store is selling Unimog for CHF199, so I have an option

try webshops. I bought mine 8110 for € 130 at a webshop here in the Netherland

that would be nice but if I factor the VAT, shipping fee and the bank transaction fee, it would be the same cost (lowest one) as the one here in Swiss

You should not forget we are VERY lucky here in The Netherlands. I have noticed we can get sets for a very reasonable price, compared to other countries.

Just finished built this one. Better than what I expected. A very good set - lots of functions in small space, clever use of cogs with good playability. An excellent set (probably best Technic for 2013 1H IMHO).

Best 1h set ever I think, and a great price for what you get.

I noticed that the number of track elements in this set is the same as needed by the b model of 8043, which is great news for me, I willbe able to make the b mol without the need of disassembling the main one. I think I have everything else.

Are the tan 3/4 friction pins strong hold? If they are, LEGO should have made them sooner

we dont even get the 42006 in the shop locally. i have to order my 42006 from the lego website and pay AU$30 for shipping.

I have motorized it by standard Power Functions set and I must admit that it gives a big improvement to this set but even without motorization it is very good. I can give even 9/10.

Just finished building 42006, and I must say I'm quite impressed! It's quite a small set, but it's very cleverly designed with lots of neat building techniques. I especially like the way the gearbox and claw are constructed. Very good value for its price! 9/10.

I built the 42006 and it's very nice. I do recommend making the crane a bit lower by removing the two lowest yellow beams (between the two light gray frames). It seems a bit high on its tracks and by lowering the body a bit it seems to gain some stability.
