MattZitron Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I don't care. It could mean we get 3 dragons this year of different colours! Maybe we'll get our beards? AND I know it says Autumn for the sets, but has there been any word when? Matt Quote
The Middleman Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 There was a confirmed rumor that Vikings will be August-ish for release. Quote
Peoples_General Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I have conformation that there should be Vikings sets at the Nuremberg show Nuremburg show? Or do you mean that the designers are being put on trial set design crimes? :| Quote
Aeturnus Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 If only lego would bring back classic castle to compliment vikings (give them somone to attack) that would be great. Although more than one idea might be stretching it. Quote
Cutty Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I would rather have Lego give us someone for the vikings to trade with: Inuit, Arabians, Africans, Karolingans a.s.o. You know, they went far for just having improved fishing boats! And a generic norse village would be nice...but I guess one can not have everything :'( . As for the dragon discussion: They are quite nice. But not as nice as they could be if constructed out of standard Lego (Lego knows still how to do so! Designer line galore!). And as low as my interest for the HP line might be, I fear there will be something along the lines of the Viking dragons on schedule for the Hungarian Horntail. At least as far as the "wingedness" is concerned... Greetings, Cutty Quote
The Middleman Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 Yeah, LEGO seriously needs to fix those wings, too. But still, beards are my first priority. Think about hinged wings that would be able to curve and curl... oooooh. Quote
sam89 Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 So . . . Nuremberg Toy Fair tomorrow :-D I really hope they show the Vikings. Quote
The Middleman Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I'm all excited! Can't wait. Nuremburg tomorrow, and ARC-170 on Friday! :D Quote
MattZitron Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 I'm all excited! Can't wait. Nuremburg tomorrow, and ARC-170 on Friday! :D Is the Uk still the only place to get the Arc-170? Quote
The Middleman Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 So what time will we get photos? Quote
