K.Kreations Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Here is a recent build of mine using some new bricks from a bricklink order. Inspiration was taken from Skyrim although I do NOT play the game. Because I did not completely finish it there are only a few photos. CMP Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Inspiration was taken from Skyrim although I do NOT play the game. Recognized it at once. That is some of the best LEGO texturing I've ever seen. The rocks, the walls, the water, the road, the grass, the roof....even the archway over the gate. They're all just fantastic. Quote
de Gothia Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Wow! It´s great and I agree with CallMePie, the textures everywhere is so nice! One question thogh, where is that water going from the waterfall? Quote
mrcp6d Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Yep, I instantly though of Riverwood when I saw this. Aside from that, great work with the rock's and the wall's texture. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Wow! It´s great and I agree with CallMePie, the textures everywhere is so nice! One question thogh, where is that water going from the waterfall? It takes a sharp turn and goes off the build. Excellent texturing on the walls and the SNOT rocks work nicely here As I said on Flickr my only two suggestions are to put gates/doors in and raise the wooden battlements Quote
mephistopheles Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Wow this is lovely! Very well done, I just love that gate! Quote
Wedge09 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Great work  I love how you made the rocks and the walss Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Absolutely stunning! The rockwork, roof and waterfall all are looking very natural. Although I'm really wondering if it belongs to Avalonia or Dragswood Quote
kabel Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 this is really great work. And wheather Skyrim or not, it's just a very incredible moc. Nice techniques and all, but what I like most about it is the photography as this is the one skill I'm totally lacking! Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 This is a really great build and it made me think of Skyrim which is a great game for inspiration! Lovely textures and great photo! Looking forward to seeing more like this. Quote
Niku Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Man it looks very nice, really an authentic defense spot. Good job. Quote
Maxim I Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Amazing gate!!!! (not as big as a common Kaliphlin gate, but for being Avalonian, this is big) Super effect on the waterfall! Quote
Legonardo Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Great build! loving the rocks and roof! (not as big as a common Kaliphlin gate, but for being Avalonian, this is big) wait till you see what im working on... Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I love the textures in this build. Good work. Quote
Rogue Angel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 This is a great MOC. I would love to see more! The building in the background and the rockwork are excellent, but I LOVE the bridge/wall concept, and you've done a great job with it. You've been putting out some pretty impressive MOCs. Keep up the good work! Quote
