DET Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Hi Andromeda, WOW, many thanks! I would never have guessed the spring system was like that. Now, to have a go at duplicating it. BR Quote
Andromeda Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 @DET I'd ask you to PM me, but I think less than 10 posts stops you. I have a spare spring that I can get to you... Quote

Reza Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Hi, I am very much interested in this topic, but the photos don't upload any more. Could somebody fix it? Cheers Quote
Andromeda Posted July 12, 2019 Author Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) @pilgrim Try and keep your point switch motor questions here? I constructed the Lego holder (1st page dated Jan 26th 2013), to actually make it easier to pull off the bottom plate using a metal hook or L-shaped rod/tool, whilst the top part remained in the holder. Don't worry if you pull the whole motor out of the holder, just push it back in, and work on another hole. You need to take extra care when inserting into the two holes near the plug/socket end, as there is a coil of very thin delicate wire which you do not want to break. 17 hours ago, pilgrim said: exactly, fitted them there! https://imgur.com/a/RtNWO4c the switch works perfectly now! thanks for your help and support Andromeda! now my new problem is fixing an automatic point-switch. i have an automatic point-switch with a broken axle (see picture below). i need to take a good axle from a manual point-switch and put it in the automatic! i found this post of yours but i can't take the two parts apart... i already ruined the holes underneath trying to separate them Edited July 13, 2019 by Andromeda Quote
